The only issue with the 1050 is the warranty. Commercial machines don't have the same no BS warranty as the 650/550. But by all means, if money is no object buy the 1050.

Walked out on the WORST MOVIE EVER "Kung Pow" talked to the manager and ended up seeing a beautiful mind.

Sorry! I misread you initial post. I don't think the bullets are tumbling, but I still think the crimp is too tight. What is your OAL? could the pressure be causing the plating to come off. I've never had any of my Berry's do that.
-
I loaded Berry's bullets exclusively for the last two years. I load 124gr RN with 4.1 Titegroup
You may be over crimping your bullets. This is often the cause of what you describe. Try a little less crimp. Hope that helps.
I agree with dapribek. The bullet is tumbling. how much crimp are you using on the bullet? What type of reloader are you using? what type of dies?

Looks nice. is it wood or metal?

The turret press has an entirely different feel. When I loaded 9mm on it, it was smooth, when I loaded 45 on it, it was a bit rough. The Dillon is super smooth. I have the Lee Decapping/resizing die in station 1, the Bullet seating die in station 4 and the factory crimp die in station 5. smooth as silk

Welcome to the forums!
Can you feel the crimp die when you run a single case through the 650? Sounds like it might be setup incorrectly or might be a bad crimp die. Are you using the Lee factory crimp die in station 5? I actually use all Lee dies in my 650.

.22 rimfire is not a defensive gun. It undermines the core principles of IDPA. Leave it for the steel challenge.

Didn't order it. Found one in stock in Miami. Drove two hours and picked it up.

Could also be a banking issue -- in the sense that there was a glitch on the bank's computer end -- or that they've blocked internet transactions until they get a response to a security verification of the last few charges on the account....

only big difference I noticed was pull the trigger instead of hammer down

magpul bus seems to be the consensus

From what I saw, I would shoot them closer to farther. Meaning closer targets from first box, reload while moving to second box then far targets. I shoot production so I think in groups of 8-10 rounds.

I carry a Glock 30 for my CCW. I like it, it's small powerful and easy to carry

Out of stock now!

That really sucks!!

Last Year at a match, my daughter wanted to tag along. I left the cooler in the car and she wanted to hold the keys. I specifically remember telling her don't lock the keys in the car....Guess what she did. I called triple A and went on shooting the match.

Looks really nice. Good luck with the build

Yes to the above replySame place you would put Dillon dies.
I run RCBS dies for .223 and have for years.

Take off the lee lock nut and use one of the gold Dillon lock rings. It will allow you to screw it down further. I use the resizing/decapping die, bullet seating and factory crimp die on my Xl650

I'm keeping the turret press. Its the loadmaster I'm getting rid of. It was trouble from day one. I never got the priming system to work right. Out of 10 rounds I would have 3 missing primers, 1 upside down and 2 in sideways. It was costing me a fortune in primers. I sent it to Lee again for repairs. It will be here Monday! Then it goes on sale. I'm still getting used to the 650, but what a difference. Dillon rocks!

I just picked up my XL650 today from a company in Miami called Pantera Guns. He has several presses and most of the other Dillon necessities.
I got the:
XL650 press in 9mm, powder check sensor, Case Feeder, Roller Handle, strong mount and pick up tubes.
It was worth the 2 hour drive to finally have the xl650 in my possession.
Shawn is who I dealt with. the contact info is Pantera guns 305-629-9980 or panteraguns.com
Storm Lake Semi-Drop in G34 Barrel - Which Bullet?

My G34 likes 124RN with Titegroup. Glock barrel though.
my pet load is 124RN with 4.1gr Titegroup set to a OAL of 1.150 with matched head stamped brass (I sort all of my brass by head stamp)
