Bolling, What sights are on your 17L? I put a Bo-Mar adjustable on mine, ended up having to put the tallest (.295) front I could find on it. I have the rear bottomed out and I still hit about 2" high at 25 yards using 125 gr.

I put Bo-Mar sights on my 17L a few years ago. The front is .295", and had a slight ramp angle. The rear sight adjustment screw is bottomed out. I don't really need adjustable sights, I would like some recommendations for fixed sights or a lower adjustable. I have heard the 17L rear sights are lower than G17 sights? Another issue with my current set up is the carbon blowing on the front sight from the factory barrel ports. The front sight I have on now is slightly ramped, and sits flush with the front of the opening in the top of the slide so the front barrel port is aimed right at the front sight. These sights are great. Just not great on my 17L. Any suggestions for a good set up for my 17L?

Any SLP owners have pics of a welded lifter? I don't own a SLP yet, but I plan to correct myself soon. I have a ton of time on a M4 (1014) but the SLP is more in my price range as a personal shotgun...
