  1. I shoot my own loads mostly 1200 - 1300 fps so if we could adjust it with 100% reliability all would be fine.
  2. [quote name='CHA-LEE' timestamp='1306438153' post='1462623' For me I would rather launch the brass across the room and have 100% reliable ejection verses ejecting the brass closer and have it jam. The goal should be maximum reliability while shooting. Not risk reliability in order to make a nice little brass pile next to you. Cha-Lee: I agree and that is what I have out of my G20. I reload my brass and shoot inside. If your not concerned about picking up your 10mm brass then I assume you don't reload. The brass is not inexpensive and rarely do you find any lying around. I would have thought Henning or some other company would have designed one for the reloaders, maybe not. Thanks again for everyone's comments.
  3. JJH: are you able to do this without affecting the reliability that Cha-Lee is referring to? If it would eject at 3:00 ( like my G20 ) that would be great.
  4. I understand the pin shortening but can anything be done to change the trajectory? If I can't retrieve my brass, indoor range, then that would eliminate the Limited, dang!
  5. I'm still considering replacing my G20 with a Limited. I'm wondering if I'll be able to retrieve 10mm brass. What is the ejection pattern? My friends 40 S&W flys out at about 1:00 and 30 feet +. Since I shoot at an indoor range I'm concerned.
  6. Nealio: thanks for the offer. His guns is .40 S&W and he shoots soft loads whereas my G20 is 10mm. I have a Wolf two piece 22# recoil rod in it. You actually replied to another post of mine regarding the Sprico recoil rod. I will get it if I go for the Limited. Thanks for the heads up.
  7. Several weeks ago my buddy showed me his Limited in 40 S&W and it looked gorgeous. I currently shoot a G20 with a KKM match barrel. We met last night so I could test fire his Witness. While I loved the feel of it, my accuracy was not noticably better than with my Glock. Possibly it was getting used to a much better trigger but for sure it is due to the stock sights. My problem is that I wear glasses but only for reading. I've always had a problem with any standard blade/post sights. He had the red front sight installed but with the light at our indoor range it was not bright. I switched to a pair of 1X cheaters and then I could see the front sight. Over the past several years I've found two sights that work best for me: 1. "Sure Sights" - do not believe they are made for the EAA 2. Standard thick white Glock sights. Can you school me on what other sight options are available for the Witness Match that might work for me? While I really enjoy my G20 and the KKM I will consider replacing it with a Match. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
  8. Thanks everyone! I decided, for now, to go with the KKM barrel. It will eliminate the glock bulge and I'm told the accuracy improvement will be significant.
  9. I did call KKM and spoke with Kevin, the owner IIRC, and he confirmed his barrel will definitely eliminate the bulge and improve accuracy significantly. I'm trying to decide if it makes sense to sell the G20 & save the $$ on the KKM then up the cash for the Limited. I hope some Limited owners will chime in. BTW: I do not shoot any competition at this time. I was real impressed when I held my friends Limited 40 S&W. That's what got this all started!
  10. Thanks Skydiver & Nealio: I do shoot hotter loads in the 1200 - 1300 fps. Is the Sprinco the ticket for this? So with the limited I will not have any more "bulge" near the base?
  11. I really enjoy shooting my G20 but my 3rd generation barrel is not fully supported thus leaving the Glock bulge. While it resizes fine I'm concerned about the longterm effect on the Starline brass. I'm considering chaging to the Witness Limited IF the chamber is fully supported. Can anyone tell me if it is? I'm also considering getting a KKM barrel. Any experience with either of these options is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  12. Started reloading 1 year ago. No time for matches at this time but hopefully in the future. I'm partial to 10mm.
