Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. OK guy's I feel like i need to chime in here. I personally think this 8 shot minor is BS. For me this put me at a big disadvantage where I will not shoot Revo at a big match. Now I am not at the high end in Revo, so if some one in my class runs a 8 shot they will bet me all day long. For example, we just shot the RO Invitational and one stage was a 32 round stage, with 4 shooting position of 8 shots each, so some one running a 8 shot would save at least 2 standing reloads if not more. Just on that the 8 shot is 4 to 6 sec faster just on reloads, now you can not tell me that they do not have a significant advantage. I am all for trying to bring mew people in to the sport, and bringing more revo shooters, but this is going to force the guys like me who can not afford to buy another revo just to be competitive to shoot a different division. If they wanted to bring the 8 shots in, that is cool but they should have created a new division, or a sub division of Revo just for 8 shots. Or, my personal opinion, is they should have left it alone and let the 8 shots run in production, or limited 10.
  2. Hey guys, just wanted to spread the word. ZSA is holding a Back 2 Back Level 2 USPSA match at The Range in Oxford NC the 4th weekend in April - 4/25 to 4/27. 3. Hello everyone, things are getting exciting at the ZSA (Zombie Shooters Association) camp. We marked our first year in operation back in January. In just over a year, ZSA has held 61 matches with 1,766 shooters, many of which were first timers to competitive shooting!! That’s a pretty good start! Also this month (April 2012) will mark another milestone in the ZSA history. We are holding our first State level match. The ZSA VA State ZAG match will be a Zombie All Gun (ZAG), which is basically a 3 gun match. We will be holding it at the Southern Virginia Defensive Firearms Institute in Nelson VA(virginiafirearmsinstitute.com/). For those of you that shoot with us in Creedmoor and Oxford, NC it is only about 20-30 miles north of Oxford, NC just over the border. We hold our monthly ZSA 3 gun matches there and Mike has a great facility and has expanded with a few new bays. The VA State match is scheduled for this Saturday 4/21/2012, there is still space available so if you wanted to give 3 gun a try or was looking for something to do this weekend come out and help us eliminate the zombie population. You can find the registration form here at zombieshootersassociation.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/2012-VA-State-Championship-Registration-Form.pdf We would like it if you could fill out the form and send it back to us at, mail@zombieshootersassociation.com But if you are not sure and find yourself with some time on Saturday, you can show up and register on site the day of the match. Match will be $75 Round count will be a minimum of 128 Pistol, 121 Rifle, 64 Shotgun. You can read the description of the stages here zombieshootersassociation.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/VA-State-stage-descriptions.pdf To read more on the match you can visit us here, zombieshootersassociation.com/major-matches/ We also want to thank everyone that has participated in our matched this year and thanks to all our Friends at "The Range" in Oxford, NC, Sportsman's Lodge in Jacksonville, NC, Down Range in Rocky Mount, NC, CCGC in Burlington, NC, "The Farm" in Red Oak, NC, SVDFI in Nelson, VA, "WAC" in Clearwater, FL and our friends keeping the border safe in Del Rio, TX. 5. In USPSA Single Stack, the "suitable for every day use" rule only applies to the holster. The CR belt and mag holders are both legal (and widely used). Great thanks for the clarification. I used the rig this past weekend at a local ZSA match, and it worked out very well. I will be heading to Area 8 championships this coming Friday.
  6. Hey guy's I had a quick question, I am setting up a new rig for Single Stack USPSA, I wanted to use a CR Speed belt, with CR Speed Versa mag holders, I measured and they meet the 2 inch off the inner belt requirement, but would it be legal with the rule that is has to be suitable for daily wear? As for the holster I am using a Blackhawk level 1 holster (no serpa, only friction retention) which I have used at level 2 and level 3 matches already, my biggest concern is the mag holders. Thank for the advise
