I took my 610 out yesterday to test fire some loads and had some problems. Using moon clips, with the 10mm round i had to go through the whole cylinder twice before the rounds would fire, meaning the firing pin struck the primers twice before they would fire. Put the same reloads in my Glock 20 and all rounds fired no problem. Again using moon clips, with the 40s&w round i went through the whole cylinder three times and only got one round to fire. I put the rounds that didn't fire in the 610 in my Glock 35 and all rounds fired with no problem. The 610 will dent the primers, but they wont fire. I did not have any factory ammo to try at the time. The primers I used were winchester and cci. Just wondering if any one else had this problem or has some insight on what could be wrong. Going to call Smith today after work and see what they say. The gun is completely stock btw.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
