Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. In this vein: You cannot truly score a 7.62mm NATO rifle against a 5.56mm NATO rifle. The latter is a general purpose weapon, the former is issued to specialists for either its intermediate barrier penetration or its superior long-range performance (at 500-600+ meters). Since we're not likely to see many stages with targets out that far, perhaps it would be simpler to make it such that if HM guns and non-HM guns are to be scored together, the simplest solution is that hits through "hard cover" still count with the HM rifle.
  2. Yes. But none of them are quality. If you want a good quality Galil, it's best to either purchase an original or to get in contact with a good AK gunsmith and talk to them about doing one. They might be able to make you one from essentially scratch or they may need you to buy a receiver first (or the Century Galil). Either way, you'll end up spending about the same amount of money.
  3. Hello, all. I'm not new to shooting, I have done some Cowboy Action Shooting in the past, and am now looking to get into action pistol and multi-gun competition. Well, I've been looking at getting into it since I bought my first pistol several years ago, but this year I'm getting psych'd and kitted out to actually do it. I hope to have some small amount of fun!
