Those have actually been around for years.
Two headstamps that come to mind are FM and IMT.

I think Ammoload also but it's been a while...

I've loaded them without issue for 9mm minor but I've heard PCC guys have a problem with separation at the step.

That would be aggravating to say the least.

I've got access to enough "normal" brass so I now throw these in the culls pile.

These have caused case head seperation in PCC's. I suspect they would do the same with 9mm Major.

  2. They would fit just fine in Limited or limited 10 minor.

It would take more money than the retail value of these guns to make them into competitive open guns.

These guns should be compatible with many Tanfoglio parts. I suspect Tanfoglio double action parts could be made to work but that won't allow it to be used in Production or Carry Optics.

Turns out I wore out/rounded over the catch surface on my gen 1 TS (figured it out the painful way at a major too) and it's time for a replacement. Thing is, I've shaved the release button significantly and now I'm wondering if any of the myriad CZ75 mag releases will fit? They're closer to the size I want and cost half of what the TS part that needs butchering goes for.

Hoping @eerw knows something about this.

    No.

3.8 - 4.0gr of N320 Should put you in the ball park, you might want to add what gun you are shooting these out of.

This is a great point. 3.8g of Titegroup/Clean Shot behind a 124g will get me 130ish PF out of most of my Production/Carry optic guns.

I got a set of the RN 125 grain, before they were correctly renamed as 127 gr, and I also had to load quite short in my Shadow, the bullet profile is not friendly to short leade barrels like the Shadow, stock. Most recently I picked up the 150gr bullets and I noticed that the coating came off in small spots while they were in transit, not all of them, but enough that I noticed a green powder on my fingers after I loaded a hundred rounds. When I initially got the 125gr, they were the first of the new batch of color and they were losing their coating quite easily. confirmed to be a bad batch by BMB.

They shoot well, but to be honest, I don't like that the coating is still not exactly there. I may still stick to SNS as the coating is very sturdy on those.

I use the 124g 9mm in my open gun at 172 PF...

The way Taccom does their feed ramps can interfere with the last round bolt hold open setups. Their press-fit ramp is like that, and I don't know if their fully ramped barrels have that issue with every manufacturer. Angstadt it's not an issue, but it's also one more part that can fail. I left mine out since I'm basically never shooting to bolt lock. In my case, I'd only ever want it for some of those insane high round count 3-gun stages, and even that is just because I don't practice reloading into a 40-rounder.

It does interfere with the FM9 lower but works just fine with the Aero lower. LRBHO and short stroke work perfectly with an Aero Upper and lower with the Taccom ESSB and superfeed barrels.

  7. I was looking at 3 different kynshot buffers and I was trying to figure out the best way to test what is best for double tapping with a 10" barrel and 6" brake (100g & 115g) and a 5.5" barrel and brake (124g & 147). Sumply watching the dot bounce is difficult to judge.

    1. 5015, Orange Spring, and buffer tube spacer.

    2. 5020, Red Spring, buffer tube spacer, A5 tube.

    3. 5006, JP Polished Carbine Spring, buffer tube A5 Tube.

  8. You will need to go to an online vendor such a Cajun Gunworks, CZ Customs, Patriot Defense, or Wolff Springs to get a larger variety. The ammo you use will determine what spring you will need.
