  1. So I'm the second owner of a Stock II that I got nearly unfired (and it truly looked it, plus the gun was imported less than a year ago) Previous owner claimed less than 50 rounds through it. I did a thorough inspection on it and took it out today, on the second mag I had a failure to eject and the damn thing was locked up tight. I tapped the slide stop out and found this: Slide seems OK Ammo was Perfecta 115gr, no sign of damage or over pressure to the casing in the gun. So my question is: how screwed am I likely to be with EAA customer service since I'm not the original owner? The gun is stock other than a Dawson fiber front sight and a spring kit from Ben Stoeger's shop. EDIT: 10 pound recoil spring
  2. "Oh I completely forgot to order that shell stop, eh I'll be alright." Wrong
  3. I am sore, tired (after the 18 hour drive back to Kansas City), bruised, but at least the bleeding stopped! I'll be back next year, this match was a double helping of delicious brutality. My shotgun even decided to play the role of a Chauchat on the trench stage for extra authenticity.
  4. Anyway since they aren't updating here the facespace update shows that slugs WILL be a part of the match:
  5. I hear you. I'm from Arizona originally, the home of the perpetual match season, and this Midwest winter shutdown is really cramping my style.
  6. Could be worse, my new threaded P09 arrived today in kansas city and I'm in Chicago on business. Lame I can't play with my new suppressor slut until tomorrow.
  7. I understand completely. You sir are certainly hunting for a rare item. Personally I want to like forged a bit more since the parts tend to be ever so slightly stronger due to the grain structure, but that's a really pointless nitpick in the grand scheme of things. I own both forged and billet receivers for my ARs, they both work just fine. The neat thing about billet stuff is that they aren't limited by the available forgings. The right hand bolt release button on my POF lowers is super cool, but I wouldn't pay more for a billet item over a forged item if all the features were identical.
  8. I was there, it was a pistol grip only pump since he was in "Action Hero" class. For those who have not witnessed the hilarity:
  9. While it isn't exactly what you're looking for, you could always just pull the dust cover off of this guy https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2940 I have one, it is a nice lightweight upper receiver. My biggest gripe with many of the billet slick side uppers is how chunky they are. (not that it really affects anything, it just bothers me) The Rainier unit is dimensionally the same as a regular forged upper just without a forward assist.
  10. Is there a dent on the primer? If there is no primer strike happening it may be wise to pull the firing pin and see if there is anything in the channel.
