Any day Texas gets a smackdown is a good day....to bad TCU blew it....

BrianH, is that an SV scope mount? Would you know who carries them? Looks really good and I bet I can save a lot of weight with it.
That pic is over 2 years old so I wouldn't know where to get one other than Infinity and they're out of stock.

What about the little sticker they put on the front of the box....?

Better yet. Plan a road trip. Go see them and look at sample guns in person. Grand Prairie is just a day trip up IH 35 from San Antonio.
Ugh....4 hours each way...pack a lunch....

Sounds like you ran out of thread....

Springfield P9 was from Tanfoglio, as was the FIE TZ-75.

Just got back from that...it was pretty good....

Lot's of places to shoot within a relatively easy driving radius for the motivated. Texas Ranges with Practical Pistol Matches
Great map if you shoot IDPA....

Quite a shame considering IPSC started there.....

I think by now it's pretty clear people don't have a problem with the front sight on the slide...I wish they'd drop it....

Why did I just have a vision of a big pile of Front Sight magazines sitting next to a big pile of USPSA ballots....?

My best advice is to avoid Dallas entirely.

Back in the Dark Ages 5.2 was giving me 940fps out of a Clark Pinmaster, so that sounds right on the money.

The sizing ring DOES need to be cleaned periodically. Some seem to believe since it's carbide it doesn't need cleaning and will last forever....

That's the scam....they "discount" the price of the phone for an extended contract. Without it a Razr is something stupid like $279. I cancelled my Verizon account (after 6 years) and got a Go Phone. I got sick of contracts (in Texas you almost can't take a piss without a 1 year service contract) and I'm happy with it, but I don't use the cell a lot.

will you adopt me?
Hell...I just want to come over for a drink...

I found AA#5 a bit harsh with 124's and settled on HS-6, then when 3N37 became available that was the end of the discussion.

Very cool! Mega-points for you....

Another potential problem here is if we deliberately walk by a NS with a hole in it (for what ever reason) when the next shooter is coming to the line, and the RO, scorer and target tapers are scanning the targets for missed holes (we all do that, RIGHT?) somebody is going to be yelling out "we've got an untaped target". Now you've made the RO look foolish because he missed a target and the guy on the line is pissed because he's about to run a stage with a no-shoot hit. Being honest is better for everyone in the end.
I know you're just trying to play ball, but next time someone "takes you aside" and gives you some garbage like that, tell them that's bullshit.

I have never met the man and don't understand how a 55+ year old stays on top of the competition.
Greg LeMond would probably say doping....

All sounds pretty normal to me....

Probably not the same subject but someone sure jumped to mind when I read this post.
A big +1.

The one time I had to collect a lot of MSDS's I just started pulling manufacturers names off the containers and looking them up in the Thomson Register. Then I started calling them! I managed to find most of them (this was a machine shop with some ancient stuff) and the ones I did get a hold of were happy to send an MSDS out. This was 15 years ago and I'm sure the internet makes the task a lot easier now.
