The key word is "slight." There is quite a bit of difference between slightly bending a stamped piece of metal than waking a barrel against a tree. That latter I would not recommend.

Did you ever get your M2 feed issue fixed? Mine did the same thing a few years ago. I was shooting at a match with a guy that worked for Benelli. Flip the gun upside upside down, barrel pointing to your right, stock point to your left, ejection port facing forward away from you. Place a large flat blade screw driver in the slot of the the carrier and push it straight forward/away from you. Slightly twist/bend it. This will hold the shell more left when the carrier lifts it keeping it from catching on the right.

I wouldn't give up. I was in the upper 70's on the wait list 2 years ago and was in the match by sometime in May. If you don't need a plane ticket, at least make hotel reservations that can be cancelled if you don't get in the match.

When does one's membership expire? Is it calendar year Jan 1st to Dec 31st, or one year from the date you joined? I've been a member since March 24, 2013. My card doesn't say when my membership expires, and I can't find anything in my profile? I know the registration isn't open yet, but clicking on register to compete takes you straight to a membership sign up page with a membership fee that also shows I'm a current member..? I'd like to renew if I need to before tomorrow at 9PM.

I'm in! It sounds like a sling is necessary equipment. Will we need to have one for each long gun or just have one and swap it back and forth between rifle and shotgun?

Great match! Had a lot fun shooting on squad 8. Thanks to the RO's and thanks to Katie, Kurt and Trpr for the pro clinic. Katie gave great advice on how to shoot the spinners!

Any details on the awards ceremony? We're trying to decide if we should stay for the ceremony, or if we should do the five hour drive home on Saturday to shoot the local match on Sunday.

It was good match. I agree that flashers would make it easier to call hits at the longer rifle shots. I can't make the May match, but I hope to make it in July.

I plan on being there. It will be my first time at BGSL. I hear they hold a good match.
