[Redding National Match 3-Die Set 223 Remington]

So here is a picture of what my problems are. The bullet on the left shows how the brass is being compressed and mushrooming.

I believe the Redding set has a separate seating and crimp die.

I use the Honady dies with good results for 223 , If you plan on seting the 223 for 1/4MOA at 200yards you may want the Redding dies , BUT if you plan to load for magazin size bullets what you have is fine . I loaded some single shot 223 rounds that would not fit in the mags and got great long rang results. even with the hornady dies.

I'm having issues with the crimp being too weak. If I tighten it down more it smashes the case and ruins it. The bullet is slipping if I put much pressure on it so I'm getting a little frustrated with it.

Do you have any suggestions?

Is the Redding National Match 3-Die Set 223 Remington worth the money or is there something better that's of a comparable price? I have been reloading pistol rounds but just started loading 223 using some Hornady dies but so far I'm not a far of them and I'm looking to upgrade.

Mossberg 930 with tactical package on it. Total investment about $1200.00- $1300.00. Benelli plus about $900.00 tactical package.

What is the "tactical package"?

I know I maybe beating a dead horse but a local gun shop has a used Benelli M1 is good shape for $800. I'm not sure how good of a deal that is really but it got me thinking if I should get that over the Mossberg 930 I was planning on buying.

What do you guys think?

[Glock 21 SF RTF-2: Any Opinions?]

Interesting. I wonder if the current "RTF-2" has been a bit toned down compared to early examples.

Do you think the rtf2 is more aggressive in the compact Glocks and maybe less is the full size as the 17 and 21 models? I have no idea this is just a thought..Thanks for the help.

For what it's worth the RTF-2 is the dame on my G19 as it is on my G17.

There's no doubt in my mind the RTF-2, if carried concealed, would swiftly wear a hole in the lining of the covering garment.

I have been carrying a G19 with RTF-2 for over a year with no serious wear on my clothing. Personally I love it and prefer it greatly over the previous version.

[G34 changing striker spring]

I had light primer strikes with anything other than the stock striker spring...

I just swapped my 4lb striker spring back to the stock 5lb units because of light primer strikes. I would consistently have 1+ out of 100 rounds not fire of various brands of ammo. If put the round back through they would usually fire. Since I switched back to the factory 5lb I have not had one light strike.
