  1. If shooting 3 gun if I'm shooting tactical ops will there be any difference?   What about in a standard uspsa pistol match?  I'm just getting back into things and am trying to figure some things out.  I'm more concerned about the 3 gun classifications as for the pistol matches I'd probably shoot revolver..

    Thanks!

  2. You can sand down the finger grooves some and that may help or you can actually buy a set that doesn’t have the finger grooves in them. The finger grooves never fit me right so I always smooth them down or buy ones that do not have them in it.

  3. I’m looking for a good holster for my shadow 2 for 3 gun and USPSA Production, but would love it if I can convert it to use the ELS brackets so O can take it off or on as needed.

Are there any holsters that that wear less on the finish than others when dry firing and match use?   Just curious if that exists as I’m not sure how durable that coating is on the gun as I just got it.  Thanks for your help!

  4. I've done a lot of polishing over the years on all of my glocks to smooth them out a bit.  Is there any good videos on this?  I will be installing some cajun gun works parts as well as CZ Custom items as well and since I'll be in there I figured I'd do some light polishing.

    Thanks.

  5. I've wondered that as well.  It seems like all 1-6 or 1-4's have the small tubes all the way across.  I use some for hunting and would like a little bigger bell on the end to suck in more light later in the evening.  That being said, many use the low power scopes for 22's and small rifles that would look weird with a larger scope and it would make it a lot harder for young or smaller shooters to look through them if they were elevated to accommodate the larger bell on the end.  Just some thoughts.

Plus, they wouldn't look Tactical!!!  LOL

  6. I spoke with Dillon on another matter yesterday.  I asked about the 1100 and they let me know that the current toolheads and conversion kits currently used for the 1050 will work on this machine.  They also said that rounds like the 30-06 and longer will not work in this machine.  You can do up to 308 length cartridges in it, but not longer.  They said the machine is wider and has a new bearing system that makes it smoother.  The nut that secures it together is also supposedly beefed up as well.   I just got a 1050 so I wasn't up on all the items he said was different.  It sounds like they actually listened to people and took care of items people typically had to upgrade to have their machines run better.

  7. Just get the standard 625 as either way you will need an action job on either one so save yourself money and just get the standard 625.  Use the money saved for your extras.

Quote from CZ's web site:  "A hardy nitride coats the entire pistol, leaving it nearly impervious to corrosion, while the frame gets an additional layer of our black Polycoat finish. "

I understand that, but I see that they have 2 models available at some places and one is strictly nitride and one is nitride with polycoat.  The one with the addition of polycoat is actually cheaper.  I'm just wondering why as if you add something extra that usually spells extra cost.

  9. I see them listed both ways.  I notice that the straight black nitride actually costs more than the black nitride plus the additional layer of polycoat.  What is the difference?  Why would adding a coating end up being cheaper?  Is the one with the straight nitride a thicker nitride vs the one with both the nitride and polycoat?  Just trying to learn.  Which would hold up better for those who dryfire and practice draws, etc.?

    Thanks.

  10. I want a pair of these, but don't know enough about them.  I want the thin ones as I have smaller hands.  Not sure if I want the full checkered or the thin bogies.  Does one grip more than the other?  What are your thoughts and experiences with them?  I don't know anyone that has them to try them out so your input would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.
