  1. I was going to get the g17 gen 5 but saw the g47 which I hadn’t paid attention to before.  Does the g47 use g17 mags?  If you were going to use it in competition does one recoil more than the other?   I see the 47 has the g19 recoil spring so just curious.   Anything else about one vs the other you think I should know about?  I’ve always shot the g17 better than the g34.  Not sure why but I shoot it better and faster so the g34 is not an option.

    Thanks for you help!

It is a non-optics ready Shadow 2 Orange.

It does make weight, 44.5 oz.

To do that requires the slide to be machined to loose about 3 / 4 oz. and this was done by Primary Machine.

The grip and magwell are from LOK Grips and have relief cuts on the back side for additional weight reduction.

    Thanks!  Who did the milling?

  3. I've heard CZ had/has and sold just the cz p10c and f slides only that are already optics cut.  Do they still make them?  If so, does anyone know where you can buy them or somewhere that carried them?  I know I can have mine cut, but for the price to have it cut I might as well just buy a whole gun with it already cut at factory as they are on sale a lot.  I like the p10's I have and would like to just swap out the slide.

    Thanks!!

This is what I am running this next year.

Will that make weight and fit in the box?  I'm new to IDPA so just curious.  Is that the shadow 2 or tactical sport orange?  Thanks!

  5. I know it’s a new gun and I haven’t shot IDPA for awhile.  I know the Shadow 2 did dominate a lot but its weight or something made it not useable for IDPA (or is it still good?).  Anyway, do you think the shadow 2 compact will be a good gun for a specific division?  Just curious on thoughts on it for IDPA shooting.

    thanks

  6. I met a guy who shots and practices IDPA.  I’ve been out of the game for a long long time, but love revolvers.  I already have a 4” 625 and bladetech holster.  I reload so couple questions, what is the power factor needed in revolver division?  I’ve seen 165 and 155 so I’m not for sure.  I have a bunch of 230 gr round nose bullets, any powder that is preferred now?

Moon clip holders:  which one and how many are allowed?  What about placement- are there rules on that?   Anything else I’m missing?   Any particular belts that everyone is using?  He has a NexBelt - never heard of them. Hahaha.

Thanks so much for your help!!

You're probably best served just asking Lena herself, just reach out on your preferred social media and I'm certain she'd be glad to help. Hell, I'm tempted to screen shot your post and ask on your behalf.

Also, most tubes will do what you're asking about. I've had Nordic, Roth, and Briley tubes that I've used on shotguns with extensions I remove to fly with.

I sent her a message on Facebook.  Thanks for the idea.

  8. I saw a video with her and Jerry, she was using the 940 JM pro and it was a nordic components and it looked like it screwed onto the end of the factory 9rd mag tube.  They said they like that because you can take that part off and it makes it simpler to travel with.  Anyone know what that is?  What attachment nut does it use etc?  I couldn't find it on Nordic and I sent them an email awhile back and no one has responded.  Anyone know?  Where can you get it?

    Thanks.

  9. I found a rare find and got a few boxes of Fiocchi JM 12 gauge 1 oz 7.5# shot.  They didn't have much recoil.  Are these special shells from fiocchi or do they make normal shells just like them?  I'd imagine they have others like them and just slapped Jerry's name on them to help with sales.

Let me know what you run and why?  I'd like to get better prepared as I'll be shooting my first 3 gun shoot in many years next month.

    Thanks.
