  1. Thanks. i refined it a little. worked out the lumps and smoothed the edges. This is kind of an old post, but do you have any sort of template for these?
  2. Did that right off the bat. I let them sit for a bit, then I downloaded them, related, and was able to get 20 no problem.
  3. Just got the Dawsons today. Cant seem to get more than 18 in them. I'll let them sit for a couple hours, and see if I can add a couple more later on.
  4. I believe that would be a Gen2, as far as I know, the only gen1 guns were the Glock 17, and verrrrry few Glock 19's that are pretty rare these days.
  5. Anybody have any ideas on a fast style of holster one could DIY for a Glock 24 in Limited?
  6. Makes sense. The Dawson base pads are cheaper as well, so thats a win! What spring do you recommend? I have a Glock 24 coming in from out or state, that only has 10rd mags, so I need to order some asap...
  7. Are the Dawson basepads preferred over the Arrendondo?
  8. Starting to shoot Limited with a .40 Glock. Whats the best combination of mag extension/spring/follower for the most rounds, and reliability? I don't really have any experience with mag extensions and the like.
  9. I'm got started shooting 3-gun this season, and I built a budget AR to get me started. Its basically an M4gery, Spikes lower, PSA LPK, and a Del-Ton upper. I've added a Nordic compensator, and it shoots nice and flat, and drives nails how it is, BUT I think I'm limited a little with the carbine length gas system, and the short sight radius. I'm considering building an upper just for shooting 3-gun. I shoot irons, so I think something with an A2 upper, 18" or 20" barrel, for a long sight radius. Here is what I am thinking, please tell me if it makes sense: 18-20" barrel, long free float handguard, lo-pro gas block w/ midlength system, and a pinned FSB as close to the muzzle as possible. I'm more comfortable using a front sight that is mounted to the barrel, than mounting one to the free float rail. Am I thinking about this correctly? Any other options I should consider? I really have no intentions of using an optic any time in the forseeable future... Thanks ya'll!
  10. I keep everything in my range bag, all the time. Gun gets cleaned, cased, and back in the bag. Holster, belt, mags, pouches, everything lives in the bag. As long as I have the bag, I've got my gear.
  11. I really like the Nordic. At $30, its a bargain.
  12. Glockster, were you at the ZSA match at Eagle1 last week? I shoot there frequently, hit me up and I'll give you some tips.
  13. I tried to add a picture, but I dont have a high enough post count to post a link...lol I actually think I got it figured out tonight by using some thicker kydex. I was using .08 for mag pouches and whatnot, but I went with the .093 for the paddle holster, works a bit better
  14. Ya'll inspired me to start playing with kydex a few months ago, I've made a handful of holsters, and ruined a TON of kydex. My latest project has been some AR-15 mag carriers for 3-gun. I've been trying to make a "bladetech" style holster, but for some reason when I fold the kydex around the gun, the sight channel never lines up quite right. Anybody who has made one have any suggestions?
