I have my R8 modified to .38 super. i ran a bunsh of 9mm with a .357 158 grain bullets throu it an it ran flawless. i did however reloaded my 9mm with the super under size die.

I am running a 327 m&p R8 currently. i've got mij cylinder done to accept .38 super reloaded with an undersize die. I've recently reloaded 9mm brass on the same dies with .38 special bullets (.158 grain) and they ran flawless. I shoot minor. This years vote on the ga for the new rule is probably going to be 6 Major and 7+minor on loading not shooting. i shoot ipsc with it in the Netherlands. I think that the 929 needs to much werk when the come from the factory. So beter an 627 or the 327 then the 929. And the shorter barrel better in balance with the gun.

Every gun is different. So every gun run its best on a different powder. My first open gun was a 9mm and he was at his best with vvn320. Then a frend build a 38 super with sti parts en that one was running at its best with vv3n38 at 9.2 grain form ipsc major. When that one was stolen from me i ran the same load in an sps 38 super open gun but that was a flame thrower aswel so back to the reloadingtable and vv3n37 was the best for that setup. Now i have a second hand svi with no hybride and this runs at its best with vvn340 with no fireballs.
