zero bullets are always out of stock at most of the places i look for them...the montana gold i have never looked at and the hornady HAPs are usually in stock at midwayusa

so why does everyone choose the zero bullets and not the hornady or what ever...i have only used lead or rainier up to this point and just bought some of the precision black bullets but i know they cant be used in comp guns at all

thanks everyone is being very helpful. i am really leaning toward an open glock for the options and the fact that any one with moderate hand tool skill and can learn by watching can work on them without needing all the machining tools

i would rather stay away from the compressed loads if possible. i like my hands =D

Thanks I have looked at alot of the info there already and I have made several notes. I have seen alot of true blue and hs6 info but alot of people leave out if they are using range brass its trim to length and primer type. i use all lee reloading equipment while shooting production and limited and CDP and ESP.

New to the brian forums but i am loving the info and the pics you all have. those are some very fine looking guns u have there O223 i love the one in the first pic any details u care to share with us as to what all you have done to it. i am looking into building me an open glock but everyone says the sti 2011 frames are the way to go but i love how easy the glock is to work on. thanks guys

oh i really didnt know that at all. thank you for the info. what about a jacketed buller in 147? or is this strictly a 115 -124gr bullet load? could the rainier 124s be used????

I am wanting to build an open glock and i have seen the kits from jager and i have seen sjc videos. I am currently shooting a glock 34 with rainier 147gr FP with WSF at 4.9gr at 1.162 OAL with good accuracy out of a Lone Wolf Barrel. My question is does anyone have any load data for 147gr bullets and can the rainiers be used in a comp gun? I am looking at keeping the fps at around 1125-1130 for the minimum pf. Any help with powder, primer, case, and bullet choices would be appreciated. thanks in advance
