you may also be getting some primer shaving of and blocking the firing pin hole

I have had at least 10 chrono sessions which I have in a blacked out box containing (2) CED M2's from 47 degrees to 93 degrees and have not experienced any temperature sensitivity with AutoComp. I am running .38 SuperComp and in 2 difference Infinity IMM Open guns. It has been a great powder for me. I do have a 9 Major gun but have only chrono'd it a time or two. Make Major with 7.2gr behind a 124 JHP MG.

well thank you i'm going to double check this when i get home from AZ they chrono at 178 here out of my Wraith and 175 out of my trubor so going back to 20degree weather should give me a good idea my loads are 7.2grs with 124MG OAL 1.170

I think the best I have heard ( and which I have been guilty of ) is when you pick up and save brass for firearms you do not even own....yet.
HAHA like me and my obsession with keeping 357sig and 38sc brass
so-thats were my brass has been going
possibly actually i have a bag of 38sc for you some of its yours im sure but i think alot of its the others guys I'll make sure to bring it to the next match i can make

It's the primers...Had the same issues with the Rems as what you described. Went back to the Wins, problem disappeared.
I found just the opposite to be true. My S&W revolver wouldn't ignite WSP primers consistently but had no problems with the RSP.
well you must get some special primers or something

I'd strip it an shoot it in SS div if i we're you

Never seen a problem with Remingtons, used several thousand of them with no issues at all. The only ones too hard in their line was Small Rifle Benchrest, these were a total disaster, but the regular Small Rifle worked in all of my open guns without problems.
only primers i've ever had issues with were the rem small rifle. i now use tula/wolf small rifle's w/o any issues

I used Rem primers for these loads,
theres your problem... i used to load with those and had an extra strenght mainspring and an extra long firing pin and a few i punched right through and they didnt go off... rem primmer, imo, are terrible primers.

Have you looked at any other 1911's? my dad and i shoot ed browns they always run perfectly and Predator Tactical builds some really nice 1911's http://www.predatortactical.com/Predator-Tactical-1911-Shrike-p65.html
edit to add- ed brown "eight packs" are great mags and ran better in our kimber match than the kimber mags did.

I dont know where you live, but the 4.5yr program im looking into has a manditory coop program so you make money as you learn and you get hands on expirience aswell the company(s) that you work with are more likely to hire you! good luck and good job on going back to school

I always start with the 29rd. stick and 1 in the chamber.
I do the reload when the time frame allows, followed by a
140mm mag!
I do this in about 50% cases (in other cases start with 140), but I usually don't load the sticks to full capacity. They hold 30, I usually put 26-28 in them. This for reloads in the 20 shot range. I have never reloaded with big stick, though... need to try it to see how it feels.
I am always reluctant to run with a loaded stick in my holder, even though they are AA's and grip well, there is still a lot of weight sticking out, more chance to lose it - anyone lost it that way?
I have running between boxes on classifiers

a 5 gallon bucket of 9's is about 8000 pieces. Don't ask me how I know
8,000 40's in the making?
I've got 3 or 4 5gal buckets of glock bulged 40's that's 20,000ish cases

Faster velocities than what?
Every barrel is different...some are just faster than others. Lots of powder vary, sometimes considerably. Those two alone probably are more than enough to explain any differences you're seeing from what other folks post. R,
+1^ I just got a "shorty" that runs my ammo 20-30fps faster than my trubor does

here's what mine looks like http://www.predatortactical.com/Wraith-Open-Gun-p376.html

95 yds with a browning buckmark on a crow. 1 shot, 1 hit, 1 dead bird.
edit to add: 22lr CCI velocitor's

Get a Cheely or a Quinn and you won't be sorry.
In addition to these two "blue chips", there is another strong contender out there, the Cameron mount, which I personally consider superior.
I love the predator tactical mount! so far no jams with it and the dot is so close to the slide!

i just got mine in from midway i think they have a few in stock
-
I like mine!
+1 to that. got 2 of them infact
-
just wondering if you guys could tell me why i get scratches from my grx? i have sent it back to redding and it got alittle better after they polished it but not much
-
I just saw that hornady has now come out with a bullet feeding die. Has anyone tried one, how are they, and what do i need to add to the powder drop to fit it in? I have 2 seperate dies for my 9s seat and crimp and a powdercop for my 40s and 45s, so im out of holes.

CA driver license won't count because CA isn't recognized as being part of the U.S. here in AZ.
