Tell me more!!
Just got this put back together. Thanks to Canyon Creek for welding a piece of metal for the safety extension, Cheely Custom for machining the slide, CZ Custom for the bushing and Yousef and IonBond for the coating.

I still have a lot of 2230 that I am willing to share at whatever the going rate is at PV, maybe about 100 lbs left. See this post for original details. It started at over 500 lbs but members of this forum have been taking me up on the offer. One forum member local to me bought 19 8 pound jugs for his club members!!! And he is coming back this week for another 5 jugs. Once it's gone I will not be getting any more rifle powder. We are sticking to hangun loads.
I have also been hoarding about 200 Kilos of AA 2460 that I am now willing to sell off. Same deal as above.
This is strictly for the benefit of the shooting community. Please do not ask me to sell you this powder if you intend to flip it for a profit.
I will also trade for Clays, HS-6 and Power Pistol if you can legally ship hazmat or are local.
Im in Tallahassee Fl, if you ship im interested, but im guessing that it would be an inconvenience.

I cant find powder for .223 anywhere. I thought I got some the other day but the order didn't go through. Any help where to find some would be appreciated.

I forgot about this race. I haven't shot Limited in a year, but I have been shooting production. I'm 74.??% in production also. I look like the ultimate sandbager.

I've had 4 STI edge's, and they have all been spectacular. Just send it back. I am not big on some of their internals, but the slide to frame fit is always smooth as butter.

They are good to go. I cast my own, and just loaded up what I would consider blemished bullets and had no noticeable difference in accuracy.
-
Yes, it has been canceled.

I had one for duck hunting and it was 100%. As far as 3 gun I got nothing.
-
I will be there. Raz, if you need any help let me know.

There is nothing that looks better than the SVI SS magwell. Exspensive, but it's the best hands down.

2 to 3 weeks!!? That would be crazy fast.

The rod was short on mine also. I took the black holder off and shimmed it down with washers, I had to replace the screw with a longer one.
I also created an extended funnel for the drop tube. My lnl case feeder assembly has a lot to be desired for, but the press is bullet proof.
I think I would trade for the 650 if I had to do it over again.

maybe a talented machinist could sleeve it like a racing engine/diesel block ? a threaded steel insert wouldn't add much weight or maybe even just a sleeve with the meanest lock-tite retaining compound and a pin ?
Just a thought as parts are scarce these days and might be something to look into
Good Luck if you try
John
Solid idea!

I used them on my custom and they are top notch, it's worth a little more money.

I am not just looking for a 3 gun shotgun. it also needs to be a hunting rig. I think the only thing I would do to it would be add a mag tube extension. I may have to call Briley because you now have me curious why. For $700 it looks hard to beat. I have yet to find a review saying that it doesn't run.

Thanks Dwight!

I have looked for used Benelli's, but there not many out there around the $700 price range. I think it just might be the time of the year. Around March I could probably find a lot of them for sale at a reasonable price.

I am looking to purchase a duck/dove gun that can also be outfitted for 3 gun in the off season. I like the Affinity by Franchi, it uses the same technology as the Benelli M2, and is owned by Benelli. I have found extended mag tubes for it, but no after market barrels shorter than 26". The Affinity is only $700 and the reviews seem to be great. I got to look at one at a local store and it seemed to be a quality gun. What do you think?

Well I did my testing. With 3.2 gn of WST and 180 grn bullet it feels great. The bullets I shoot are pretty hard, and I got no leading.

I shoot at tri-state and its a good match. Not that many people shoot it, but ts a fun match to shoot. They have a shoot house that's fun to shoot in.

HRider,
If you have the Deputy's name and badge number, send a letter to his Precinct Commander. This will mean more to the Deputy. And with some agencies this letter will go into his personnel file. When promotions come up and they check his file the atta-boy letters will help him on the promotion process.
Thanks!

I will be loading up 180gn minor loads for a Glock. Before I buy an after-market barrel I was wanting to know if anyone has used the original barrel for these kinds of loads. It will probably be around 800fps.
In my 2011 I ran these same bullets at 975 with out any leading in the barrel.
What do you think? Should I just go ahead and order the barrel or try it out?
Where do you get Lead for casting?

Dig the bullets out of the berm. I sorted out the cast bullets and smelted those sepretley to have the harder lead.
