  1. Do CZ's make for sub par limited guns?

I have never handled a CZ and have always shot 2011's, but they look like they could be a nice gun. The grip looks great, and it is nice and high. People say they can get 2lb trigger jobs. It is a less expensive gun.

Why are more people not running them in Limited? The TS has all the necessary aspects to become a great limited gun. What am I over looking?

I would like to hear why from both sides but really the people who considered a CZ and went with a 2011 instead. I never even considered one until I started looking at pics on here a couple months ago.

  2. My knowledge of Taurus was/is limited to a knock off beretta (my brother owned one) , revolvers (I owned one) , and 1911's (my friend owns one) So when i heard that she was going to shoot for them I went to the web site and clicked through all of their product line wondering what a competitive shooter would use named Taurus. I have never been on their web site and I did see some interesting carry guns that I have never seen before. But product exposure tricks like sponsorship would never work on me.

I did the same thing. So they got two extra hits today.

  3. I personally rather shoot a gun that doesn't need me to clean its mags every time, and the hassle of doing it is just part of it. The biggest issue is what if you forget to clean that mag between stages and now you have a death jam on the next stage. Not worth it in my opinion.

Its not all about a jam. Sand destroys machines. I'm not going to feed my $3000 limited gun with sand!

  4. I was running around 2.2 on 8 inch plate. I haven't shot in three months till last week and I couldent get bellow 3.8. If you don't use it, you loose it.

Correction it was a 2.8. It would not allow me to edit.

  5. Armscor in a SV?

Why not? An inexpensive way to gain experience in fitting barrels. All the fitting is on the barrel so if you botch the job the SVI slide and frame are still okay. Learn how to do the job correctly and then fit an SVI barrel. Cheaper than screwing up a pricey barrel to advance up the learning curve.

    Pt

    I can understand that.
