  1. Hmmmmmmm.........

Some thing to try once I get my new gun.

I'm currently running my STI Eagle in .40 ( this will become my back up gun)

If I can get 5 of my STI's to run.....that gives me options :D

  2. Sometimes I find that my "head" is getting in the way of my game.

I use a Yoga routine of "square breathing" just before I'm on the deck.

    I breathe in on a 4 count.....hold for a 4 count...exhale on a 4 count...hold empty for a 4 count. I'll do 4-6 reps of this :D

I found that it clears my head and gets the body pumping...without exertion.

    Just say'n

  3. Hi everyone.

I'm proud to say that I've ordered up and just about paid for my new SVI gun :surprise:

    The question is...mags??

I shoot IPSC up here in Canada and I fall in to the box rules for a " Standard Class Gun".

So, Im guessing the SVI 124mm Mag ( 10 round configuration only!!!)

I currently use Gramms' goodies on my STI gear....they work %100 of the time!!

So the question become...do I keep the new mags from SVI stock...or do they too need a little help.

By the way, the reason I switched to the Gramms' in my STI gear was that I found that both

the springs and followers were inconsistant. :(

Anyway, any advice from my fellow forum members would be appreciated :D

  4. Hi Guys.

I had a Custom 5.1 built last year.

As far as getting your moneys' worth.....you may need to spend a few bucks as to extend the life of your gun. :surprise:

Better internals shuch as Hammer,Sear,Safety and Internal and external barrel.

Airsoft Surgeon is going to be your new buddy!

Best of luck to you. :D

  5. post-24914-0-64607300-1348711967_thumb.jHi guys'.....I swear that I had the same subject last week on this forum.

Anyway, Ive been using the DAA thumb rest for quite some time....I love it!!

Now having said that....I've ordered an SVI non adjustable rest on the gun that I've orderd from Brandon.

The reason is......an adjustable is great but...I've had others ( with simular sized hands as myself) use my guns....and they didnt need to adjust the thumb rest. :)

I think that unless you have really small hands or short thumbs a rest is going to give you more problems thaqn it solves. Because in order to access the rest....you will be compromising the grip that you've been using successfully.

But to each his own....if you can try before you buy.

I'll attach a pic of my beast onto this posting.

  6. Ok, I get it. <_<

I wish that STI had been able to give their customers the quality and variety of SVI when it came to their grip.

But given the issue of both cracking and a total lack of texturing......is it any wonder that some of their loyal clients ( hell, again I own 4 of their guns)start looking ellswhere. :surprise:

I mean, when was the last time that anyone saw a %100 bone stock STI gun at a match....they've all had something done.
