seems that most of the replies are directing you to a 3 gun setup.
For HD I would get a Mossberg 500/590 with 18" barrel. Remington 870 18" barrel. If you want a auto loader. I would look at the $ Mossberg 930 SPX,$$ FN SLP, or the $$$ Benelli M4. Keep it simple. Tac Light ( TLR-1) and good mount, I like the MT from www.cdmgear.com Velcro Side Saddle. Thats it. couple cases of cheap shot shells, some GOOD Professional training. HD ammo,, Fed Low Recoil 00 Buck with FLIGHT CONTROL, this stuff patterns exceptionally well in most shotguns, Cyl or IC anything tighter and you start to get flyer's

Don't try to hold them flat. Kind of bunch them in your hand.
Now that is just the opposite of what I have been trying to do. Explain the bunch method please.
+1
This video that Keith Garcia did shows it better than I can describe it. Just don't try to hold them completely flat.
Here is a recent video of my reloading of the SLP.

Also get the gate welded up. So you don't bleed on the your gun.
What makes you think that the lifter is NOT welded.

NICE!! its something I don't practice nearly enough. I've gotten down to 7sec loading 8rds. Gun at ready load and back on target. Not sure where that puts me but you looked way faster
Thanks, Its taken me a fair amount of time, just to be mediocre.

Getting better with my reloading the SLP. Due to no bicep in my left arm, keeping the weapon shouldered is out of the question. Just hope I can do the same, on the move
no one to reset the plate rack for me

Glove with index finger cut off for the strong hand. Reason, the checkering gets a little uncomfortable after 75 rounds. I load everything off the belt.

last few photos of finished stock - and one of my Sponsored Nordic Benelli !!!!!
.........the way God intended shotguns too look !!!
Mike.45,
Dude, I followed your directions and fit a Speedfeed IVs on my FN. I'm pumped that it's easier to handle the shotty with my bad rotator cuff. All I got to do now is shoot the thing. I'm going to take my Remy 1100 and compare/contrast. I appreciate your detailed post. I did not have to use the copper pipe for the new stock though. I tried my stock plate/washer and 19mm bolt and it all seemed to fit well. Thanks again.

Just got my renewed GSSF card in the mail today. Got off work, and high tailed it down to the gun shop to start DROS on the G35. Montana Golds 180gr showed up in the mail today also. Mailman hates me,oh crap I hate myself. Dies should be here Tuesday. One more match of shooting L-10 minor.

+1 on this, Ed's ships to FFLs for $12 and honor GSSF. They asked Gen 3 or Gen 4
Note: This is an upcoming change to the GSSF program starting May 1st. There are going to be cards/coupons for GSSF purchases.
Well its that time of the year again. The wife says What gun do you want this year?. It took me a whole nano second to blurt out " a G 35 please "
Looks like I will have to wait a little. The GSSF sponsor shop has zero in stock, but 15 on order. At least I'm on the wait list.
BTW shooting my first big match Sat & Sun Golden Bullet L-10 minor Glock 17L
I got mine at Ed's Public Safety last week on a tip from a member here.
Called Ed's all they had at the time were Gen 4's Me being in Calif getting a Gen 4 is doable, but more hoops to jump through.
5/11 just got the call from my very local blue label dealer, They got there long awaited order in. so its time for the wife to pay up

Mossberg 500 18" barrel

Hmmm a Benny trigger job. What's Benny getting for a trigger jobby?
And what is Jeff charging to do the lifter?
Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk
Just goes to show, how different barrels pattern, the the same ammo

Skip ahead to 2:08 in the video. I don't move my hands but just turned my body and sort of left the gun pointed down range.
Todd
I do like that technique. Very simple.

Nice run, what type of shells are you using?
Rio 7.5 1 1/8 oz. 3 dram

GoPro Hero 1080p / head strap, cool little camera.

Richmond Rod & Gun had a practice shotgun stage up and running a few weeks ago.
Here was my best run, not great but getting better.

it sounds like it the same issue that the newer 870's have these days. Take a 1/4" wooden dowel and 0000 steel wool and polish the crap out of the chamber. Seems to be the fix for the 870's

Is the carrier latch pin clip the first part removed and last part installed?
-
I am not trying to steal the thread but has any one looked at the Remington 887 as another alternative to super nova?
I would never consider an 887.

This was the result of my last chrono attempt. Very flat results. I'm feeling a little lost at this point. My PF target is 130-135

Come on out, won't cost you anything to watch and I'm sure you could help in resetting the stage's. Get a good idea of weapons that you could use for 3gun.
I'll be in squad #6 starting the match on Stage7 200 yard. I will be shooting an ASI Mini 14 in Limited. With a jogger gun cart.
Don't forget your eye'e & ears.

The 930 SPX and the FN SLP have full length mag tubes. The M4 could benefit from one, http://www.davesmetalworks.com/ben4.htm but then you also have to deal with 922r regs.
Stocks,, they all come with one. and they are more than adequate for the HD role.
Light,, TLR-1 great light, will stand up to the 12ga recoil
Sling,, don't really need one for HD
Mossberg 930 SPX,, best bang for your buck. Any issues you may have heard regarding the SPX have long been taken care of. Buy with confidence
Great review here http://www.weaponevolution.com/forum/showthread.php?167-Mossberg-930-SPX-Review
