I started with 6 round CCW's , too tall, even after lowering them. Sold them. Then bought 7 CCW 4 rounders, upgraded retention spings, that made a huge difference. The rounds come out of the caddie much smoother. I also have 2 4x4's, and they are the first 2 on the belt.

I'm in, all paid up.

Water proof socks (Shark skinz) is the best since sliced bread.
Shark skinz are a Giant NO GO in my book.
Gortex socks by Rocky are the bomb/ I have been using them at work for years.

Shot my first 2 rounds of skeet this past Sat. Used a borrowed Browning Maxus 12ga 7/8th oz. steel shot. First round at the high ready shot a 22/25. Second round, with low carry 19/25. Good times.

Winchester Ranger Low recoil out of the SLP.. I avoid stuff with the rolled crimp, just long enough not to fit in the caddies

I'm on my 7th case of Rio, no ammo related issues to report.

never mind

Another reason to never admit to ANYTHING! Just play dumb, keep shooting, whatever. Once the RO stops you he has to make his case. Don't help him.
I totally disagree with this statement. If you know your wrong, cop to it.

No biceps in left arm...I feel for you. Severed mine chasing down a drug dealer...they tied it back together with a cadaver tendon. I hope that I can load that fast one day with my zombie arm.
Got mine screwed up back in 84, static line wrapped around my arm while exiting a C-130 jumping into Panama.
Surgery 9 months later, Mil-Spec Doc's couldn't fix it.

The Rio Salado club in Mesa, AZ has one. Shown in 3-Gun Nation intro to 3-gun video.
Thanks got a hold of them and they are helping me out with some good pics
You should post them if that's cool with them and you...
Here is a vid of the type of door we want.
Breaching the door from across the room, that's a different tactic!
here are the pics of the door
This door is Ron at Rio Salado creation

Why not make a spring loaded latch that's activated by a steel target? Is a clay actually that necessary?
Steel target is actually better. just trying to wrap my head around how the whole thing would work, Steel jamb, steel mesh door panel with framed out 6" round as the knob. HD spring to keep door open once latch is blasted. Gotta send this to our fab guy, he should be able to figure something out.
I remember seeing one on youtube, but just can't find it.

Searched this subforum no luck.
Shotgun match
steel door with a clay where the doorknob would be. Shoot the clay, door swings and STAYS open. Shooter moves through now open door to next aray.
My ??? need some good pics of the door and how it works, springs? latching method, and the like.
Thanks

First AR build for me. I am really digg'n the LAR right side charging upper. JP lightweight profile 16" barrel., JP trigger ACE ARFX stock, BCE comp.VTAC handguard. Weight is a big issue for me. I will not be shooting any BIG matches and also want to use it for Tac Carbine classes. Any issues with this set up??

All of a sudden my bolt release/shell catch pivot pin is slipping down and making it difficult to release the bolt.
I tap it back up with a punch but after 5-6 shots it has dropped down, but not out.
Is this mysterious pin clip missing somehow?
I had a gunsmith remove and tap the bolt release head for me so I could attach the Nordic button (more than a month ago).
Is it possible he could have left the pin clip out or installed it wrong so it would fall out?
My eyesight is bad and I can't make out anything in the photos above, but I can run a paper clip along the milled slot and there is a slight 'bump' right where it crosses the pivot pin, but nothing else is in the slot.
Are there any drawings of what this pin clip should look like?
Thanks
drop your trigger assemble look at the pin and clip thats hold everything together. that is what the clip looks like,,, Carrier latch pin clip,, looks like a short flat bobby pin.

Not a 870, will a Moss 500 do.

So, if I have the CCW 4 rounders, and going to use the original belt clip. All I need to buy is the $6 item or is it the $9 item.

?? On the SLP magtube. There is a brass fitting/collar/ ring thingy half way up the tube. Looks like it directly under the piston and gas block. What does this part actually do.
-
I have a SLP. Birdshot load 1 1/8 oz. low recoil 1oz. slugs. Light piston. I have shot Win 1600 FPS 1oz. slugs ( Not very many )with light piston with no ill effects.
So what is a "HEAVY LOAD"? Is it FPS or the actual weight of the shot, or a combo of both??

Should a RO, who is running a stage, video tape a shooter with a hand held camera??
NO, and if you actually witnessed such, at a minimum, it needs to be reported to NROI. Nuff said.
I'll go one further....if you actually witnessed this and did nothing to stop it you should spend time with the person in the mirror instead of posting about it.
Happy to say, I was not in that squad. Also I am not pointing any fingers.

You start adding "lights & things" to a benelli, it will not run. They take a little weight but not much because they are recoil orp.
930, SLP, and M4 are all gas operated.

Have a 14" with a skinny 16" super light set up. I actually hook my index finger over the leading edge of the handguard, thumb over the top. Little more stable for me.
AP's designs far exceeds anything else on the market, and he is, a hell of a nice guy.
