Do the heat sinks not really do that much to help with cooling the barrel?

What grain do you guys think will work best out of it?

I gave that thought as well. I went with the blend treatment because I'll probably just stick with the JP Comp.

I contemplated the light and medium contour over and over, and I think 5 extra ounces wont make that big of a difference to me. Plus if I go to war with a long distance target the medium contour wont heat as fast as the light will.

We don't have the factory pin, they're on eternal backorder, but we do have a stainless roll pin that matches the factory specs. I checked the website because I thought I had added them but evidently not. I'll do that now so give me 15 or 20 minutes and I'll get them added. Are they just as hard to install and uninstall as the factory extractor pin?

Anybody know where I can find a Striker Plunger Spring Plate? I'm not exactly sure if that's the correct part name, but I need the little flat circle plate that mates directly under the rear sight. I can seem to place one.

Well it showed up today and I was surprised to see it's an actual ACE Ltd. ARFX stock. Brownells must have screwed up the Mfg name on their website.

Is the Double Star ARFX Stock http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/rifle-stocks/ar-15-arfx-skeleton-stock-prod16910.aspx?ttver=2 just as good as the ACE ARFX Stocks? I've been looking all over for an ACE ARFX and everyone seems to be sold out, except for the Double Star at Brownells.

Any benefits to the medium over the light barrel?

My Costa mag release/catch bent and started getting mags stuck along with causing feeding problems because the mag was setting low in the gun. They have yet to return my email and I'm too lazy to make a phone call at this point. Good luck with your return

Maybe you could try pushing up on the slide release during your reload so the slide doesnt auto forward then once the mag is seated then allow the slide to close.
