Vince, If you convert 11.5mm to inches it comes out to around .4523 inches.

    Lightest possible

I use stock springs in most of my Glocks. My G21 can handle a 200-gr bullet with a power factor of only 144 with the stock spring. I did have to go to a 13# spring on my G24C and light 180-gr loads in order to get better ejection.

It is exactly the same diameter as a 45ACP. There was a misprint when translating the brochure and converting metrics to inches.

It's not an over-penetration issue. Glock wanted to find a way to make a .45 caliber bullet work in a G17/G22/G31 frame and provide 10+1 capacity. The answer was to shorten the casing of a .45ACP and use 200-gr and 185-gr bullets offering the same or better performance than their .45ACP cousins. I not only welcome the .45Glock on a G17 platform, but have also ordered one with my GSSF pistol certificate. Hope to see delivery about May 1. P.S. I expect Sig to be the first "other" manufacturer to offer a pistol in .45Glock

    Slide Stop/Release

I replace my extended mag releases with standard mag releases because the extended ones seem to get in the way at the worst possible times. I also prefer the standard slide stop levers. About the only thing I swap out is the serrated trigers in favor of smooth triggers.
  6. I agree with Fireglock. WST is a very low pressure powder. The 180-gr FMJ over 4.0-gr of WST, OAL 1.135 inches is a GSSF favorite, producing a power factor in the low 140's. I use a Lee factory crimp die and a Dillon chamber gauge for all my reloads. They work just fine in my G24C with factory barrel.
