Thanks everyone. I think i looked at the 550 conversion chart not noticing it was for the 550 only and thought there was different paths other than buying the full conversion kit. My fault. Guess it is time to order a conversion kit.

When you say I don't need anything are you meaning I don't need anything besides the "case feed adapter" I know that I had a 40 case get mixed in my 9mm cases while reloading and the case stopped in the "case feed adapter",

Need some help in figuring out what parts i need to switch my casefeeder from 9mm to 40. I know I need the case feed adapter for 40. beyond that I am getting some confused on some of the information I am looking at. Any help would be appreciated.

ended up calling mastercast after getting no email responses. Seems like the way to go. Got very good response on a call back (5 minutes). order 2k 9mm and 1k 40 since they would fit in one box.

So a came to post questions about a single stack in 40 and Wa-La here is a thread already talking about single stacks so I want to jump in but not hijack the thread. I too an looking at a Trojan in 40. I have read some good and bad stories about reliability in SS 40s but it seem like once you get the right combo of mags and OAL you are ok. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have als read alot of about the tipp mags and people using 10mm mags for their SS 40s. ?? One thing I have not heard any discussions is if using Lead bullets over something plated affect your reliability so if something can speak to that I am interested to listed. ?? Assuming you get your SS 40 running ok are there disadvantage of using 40 and not 45 in USPSA or Steel matches. Not running in the big matches but keeping local and it is all for fun.

I have bought a 650 and in should be in shipping and wanted to get the bench drilled and ready to mount the press. Does anyone know of a template to download to drill the holes or will I just need to wait and hold the press up on the bench and drill. I do have more than enough overhang to mount the press and have a stable method to mount as I have I my sqare deal mounted on the bench.

I am not having much luck finding a list of primers and their hardness. I know Federals are on the soft side and CCI are on the harder side but where so all the others fall into the mix? winchester, remington.... Has anyone seen a list like this? I way been using the term hardness incorrectly and should be using sensitivity.

I wear a weight lifting glove for the ball handle on my reloader. It is padded and open fingers. It allows you to grip the ball but slided really nice.

I shoot my first USPSA match last fall and I think want to give USPSA a full try this year. The problem is I am still not sure what class make sense for me. I have been shooting steel for about two years with a G34. I have both a G34 and G35 and would want to shoot one of these in USPSA. I am all ready to order mag extentions and magwell for G35 to should Limited or L10 if that make sense. It seems like people prefer to shoot in the Limited or L10 class but not sure why. Is there an advantage of these over production. Is it because of the way production is scored? I am not expecting to go out and be the quickest as much as go out and have fun. I would think I would like to start in the class that I would be shooting should I still be shooting USPSA 3 years from now.

Thanks for the info from everyone. I found a deal on 650 w/case feeder so I am going to find out all the difference between the two. I think this is going to be all the press I could ever need. Now it is time read all the good tips for the 650 here and wait for my press.

The is probably hi-jacking the thread a little but if you had 10 round mags in your glock could you shoot single stack division?

What Magwell is that on this gun in the picture?

Does everyone think you really need the adjustable sight? I would think that is you could get a set of fix sights setup it would be more consistant and more durable. I still new enough to the shooting sports that I am not sure.
