Thanks Guys
We are looking forward to next year, a different date, so not to conflict with Bianchi Cup.
It sure was uncharacteristically HOT, 2 of the hottest days of the year so far.
Thanks for coming out. -

So how muddy nasty are the bays going to be? Trying to gauge how many pairs of shoes I need to bring
I put over 400 tons of rock in the bays first part of May, still could use more, other than bay 5 that has ground water coming up(have to tile that bay), they are good.

Stages are all setup , will be going through them all again this week double checking everything.
Bring your buddies and have a blast.
OH, I have 1 room available at the Bunkhouse, 4 full size beds per room. Grab it while you can.

I wish I had known about this earlier. Any chance of next year?
Not sure, since the PCC entries are down due to fear, I opened up some slots for pistol shooters.
So next year will be determined by PCC entry numbers.

We met the numbers for $$ pay out.
Come join the fun

Setting up the Frisco Shoot out stage(interesting story, look it up), any suggestions to block off the "180" view of targets from the next shooting area ?
I know how I want to do it, wondering if there's some better ideas.out stage -

Is there a deadline to sign up?
Not really registration closes on Thursday night before the match. Squads will be locked before then.

Vortex optics has joined as a sponsor.
Still time for some last minute entries, come on out and have some fun.

Vortex Optics, is on board as a match sponsor.

People are signing up, don't miss out on this mega match.

You need to offer refunds all the way to the end or allow people to register and pay later (much later).
If you don't have either, I wouldn't sign up if I shot PCC.
The Kentucky sectional is on for mid June and that's how they're handling payment and registration
I'm going and I'm staying in Lexington. I'm tired of this BS with governors imposing idiotic restrictions with no common sense. I've been working the entire time this "pandemic" has been going on, and I'm still healthy and kicking.
We're all going to die sooner or later and I've made peace with that long ago. I'm not going to live in fear.
Well, it wasn't the refund policy, changed and , so far, no bump in registration, maybe they are all waiting till the last minute. I don't know if uspsa/pcc shooters do that, they kinda do for monthly's, figured a big match would be different.

Because the government knows whats best. Let them help you.
I feel bad for you guys in IL, at least here in MO, everything is back open again. Of course it never really shut down, except for restaurants, The tourist/out of town visitors stopped but for a lot of the locals - it was business as usual.
-
OK, there seems to be enough interest, here is the registration link, if we get 10 or more in a division, there will be a CASH payout.

One would have to see the actual stage, but I would be potentially concerned about unsafe shooting angles and violations of 2.1.4.
Not hard at all, we do 2 stages every month in 3 gun. A few more restrictions with uspsa, but not real difficult.

If May 23-24 doesn't work for your schedule, we have some slots available to shoot with the staff the weekend before.
Also rooms available at the Bunkhouse then as well.
Contact me- Matt Loganbill for more info, or to set it up. -

Just 2 comments:
1) Review rule 2.1.2
2) "Obvious" sometimes isn't .
Lol, that is for sure

- They WILL.
I've seen it,
Had a jeep stage once, shot over the hood, through the windows ,3 positions.
A top 10 shooter decided to climb on top and shoot the 4-6 targets from the roof, instead of talking 3 steps. It was at least 10z15 seconds slower. But then everyone thought that was the best way.

Level 2 match, jungle run, fault lines.
I know these kind of stages are rare, and I think I know the answer, but here's the question.
Are fault lines necessary? There is no absolute shooting area, there is a well defined path, if you want to run through the brush, there sure isn't an advantage, and there would be some obvious barriers/obstacles if you did.
There is a defined start line and stop point, but other than the obvious path, no defined shooting area.
Just tossing this out there.

Seems to be some interest, I'll setup/edit the registration page tonight, and up date here. Spread the word, contact your buddies.

How many would be interested in a HUGE round count (466) pistol match?
I have a lot of available slots in the "PCC" match May 23-24, had a couple ask if they could shoot it pistol. Any interest?
As a separate match with pistol only squads - it's a USPSA match so no long shots.AT Lead Farm 3 Gun range in Versailles MO 65084(google for distance) - lodging available at the range.

Im not sure that is something to brag about.
I had no control over it for the first 18 years, did alright . Why change?
I know they are rare but a question on a L2

Both Jungle runs worked out very well, had fault lines at the very end to keep anyone from getting too close to the final steel, and "off limits" lines outside the path, they really weren't needed, as target placement pretty much dictated where you went.
