Next. the primers should be below flush, slightly. Have you changed any springs? Try a different lot of primers. Winchesters are medium on the hardness scale and should go minus a real light trigger job
-
Let me be the first: check your set screw on the mainspring? If the trigger is feeling really good double action, it may have backed out
-
Bubber: I can't take them out with my thumbs crossed like this. Hope you are well
-
Yeah Bubber. That's how I hold everything. That's why I never got the hang of the speedsticks
-
Bubber: Is that the regular ICORE rulebook or the special Okie ISORE rulebook?
-
Also, is there any USPSA legal to ameliorate the narrowness of the grip and the fingergrooves on the Glock 34? I find the gun moves in my hands and a palm swell would be good. Would a Hogue Handall fit over the fingergrooves?
-
Does anyone have any opinions as to the "best" holster, high visability front sight, or other accessories for a Glock 34 to be used in USPSA production class? Thanks in advance.
-
May I ask what bullet you are using?
-
I have personally dealt with Phil and his extra attention to his product when you purchase from him is beyond words. He truly tries to help you and his efforts extend beyond his product. And the speedsticks work exactly as he represents. How often does that happen?

Did you respond :"If there ever is a blackout, it would be nice to be handy with the manual can opener"?

I have been shooting the 4.3 load for about 5 years with no signs of pressure. I do not warrant it for anyone else's use but I'm not alone out here in the Northwest using a tad more than 4.0 clays. YRMV so work up slowly if you decide to go that high. Personally, I'm lowering the load .1 at a time to get to 170. I bless the day someone told me about Clays and the .45acp. It is the most economical, clean, and consistent combination I have found.
-
I shot 4.3 Clays with a Montana Gold 230 grain bullet out of a 5" 625 and chronode 173 PF at Area One. Montana Golds are notoriously slow.

Sorry not to have responded. The round nose flat points did not work for me because if you really miss the hole they do not shake down into the cylinder for me like a true round nose. They hang up more. If you hit the hole approximately right, they are ok. They make a prettier hole. YRMV

Bubber....You lose some weight? And how did you get taller? To be on point, lay off the flat points. They will kill your reloads.

My last 2 purchases were a 8shot627 and 8shot 27. The triggers were horrible. On the 27 pins were brushing against the sideplate. I could never get the 627 to group and sent it to Jim Stroh for his magic. That, and a couple of trigger jobs, and these guns are as good as it gets, but the words "Performance Center" hold no magic for me.
-
I would use it to protect the crown of the barrel.
-
Anyone seen an Area One match booklet yet? I need to start planning my reloads. Actually, since I am shooting revolver, I need to start doing them.
-
The 625 is a truly neat gun. Have fun.
-
Blade-tech has regular and competition holsters as well as some neat moonclip holders
-
Thanks guys

Does anyone know of a bulk source for round nose .357 125 to 135 grain bullets, preferably fmj or plated? The major manufacturers put out a 130 grain ball ammunition, but I cannot find the component for reloading. I need to drive the bullet 1,000fps+
-
Congratulations on the purchase of a beautiful gun. Learn to love a standing reload. Try to keep secret how much more fun it is to shoot a revolver in a match. Otherwise, the uncool people will want to do it, too
-
I just received my 627 back from 2 gunsmiths. Mark Hartshorne (Pinnacle Performance) did some porting and Jim Stroh did some accuracy work. Both were excellent as to the work, but also in regard to time and communication. They were both extremely professional in their dealings, and, Mark is an ICORE supporter.

Bubber: Been thinking about the grip problem. After figuring out how to uncross my thumbs (Saturday). guess what comes in the mail? My Cylinder Turns. And the answer is there. Ask JOYCE Rosato!
