  1. There is a small rubber/plastic cap on the top of the hammer spring which keeps the spring behind the hammer when the trigger is pulled. If that comes off the spring, on occasion, it will allow the spring to move to the side of the hammer causing a light hit.
  2. I had this same malfunction and found the problem in my case to be the plastic sleeve that goes on top of the hammer spring fell off during cleaning leaving the spring in direct contact with the hammer and slipping to the side of the hammer when fired. When I replaced the spring cap the problem was gone.
  3. Had the same experience with mine. Bought it, shot it. After 15 rounds it stopped cycling. Took every part out of it, including the recoil spring, cleaned everything, and lightly lubed everything with CLP. Now it shoots everything in all weather. I give the bolt rails a light lube with the CLP before a match.
  4. Preparation is also important. Before you stick on the velcro, clean the receiver with a de-greaser and then heat the receiver with a hair dryer to assure proper adhesion.
  5. What worked for me was going to Walmart and bringing home several pairs of $9.99 reading glasses ranging from +1.75 to +2.50, going to the basement with a dryfire target on the wall and seeing what worked best. For me it was the +2.00. The front sight jumped right up and the target at 15 yds. back wasn't a blur
  6. Got the front sight problem solved and now I have a new problem...... Light firing pin strikes on the primer. Happens about once per box of shells. Primer gets a slight dent. Everything is cleaned and lubed with Breakfree CLP. Happened with a couple different types of ammo.
  7. I have the same problem with the 930 shooting high with the rear sight all the way down. The further the shot the higher the POI. What did you do to raise the front sight? I see the newer models have the front sight mounted on a elevated base.
