what do you guys think about the barrels they make for turkey hunting with a traditional notch on the rear of the barrel?

To be a little more specific, I am curious what is everyones favorite sight for tactical division shotgun and why.

What are the thoughts on the different sights for the shotgun?

Has anybody received a conformation email? Are there still openings?

Are there going to be any events at the match hotel?

So with a #15 ISMI spring and tungsten guide rod will it make a noticeabe difference in muzzle rise? Thanks

I have a MP pro 9 that I shoot WWB factory ammo with. If I replace the guide rod with the tungsten one, what spring should I get?

I have talked to two different people at Burris (Sam Adams was one), they both told me it was not possible to upgrade the reticle or the illumination. If someone actually gets one back that has been upgraded please post back.

So when you get the new switch will the illumination be brighter as well?

Does anyone know if Burris will convert an old 1-4 XTR to the new reticle?

I am one of the new shooters. We have no complaints with the small steel targets. We are all over 40 with eyes that are not what they used to be. We had no problems finding the targets and enjoyed the challenge. We also work indoors so the mud and the elements are a welcome change. The RO's were courteous, helpful, and never seemed put off by our lack of experience. I must say that it was intimidating showing up to a match like this with no experience but our squad was patient and for that we are grateful. The only thing I would change for next year is more rain, more stages, and more small grey targets. I would also like to see Kirk add a match in the spring at the same place.

I just got a 4 shell PM stripper to try out. I do not like how much tension the spring adds. What is the best way to adjust this thing? Any certain shape to make the spring?

what does the spring and guide rod do for you?

I noticed that the height of the Dawson front sight with the adjustabel rear is alot taller, Is that a problem?

good stuff guys, thanks for the advice. As far as the front sight post I have a hard time deciding which type. A simple white dot is all I have had before and like it fine. I do like the FO one that came on the pro but I am worried about the durability of it. If I do get a dawson FO to match the adjustable rear what width should it be? If I need to polish the feed ramp and chamber what do you use and how do you do the chamber?

New guy here with some questions. I purchased this gun to start entering some compititions. I would like to add an adjustable rear sight and texture the front and rear of the grip. Would these be legal in the production classification of all of the different compititions? As far as the adjustable sights are there any problems with them? I always seem to need a slight adjustment of the factory sights. But, I do not want to constantly be adjusting the sight if it will not stay in place.
