Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I bought one of the Rhino (Bighorn) safes for my son about a year and a half ago, as a college graduation gift. A few months ago, his home was broken into while he was at work. The thieves tried their best to break into the safe. They used a Milwaukee grinder that they found in his garage to try to grind off the hinges. Then they tried to grind through the sheet metal surrounding the lock dial. Next, they took a sledge hammer and beat on the handle until it broke the "shear bolt" (designed to break in such circumstances). They never got the safe open. My son took some digital pics of the damage to the safe & e-mailed them to Bighorn, along with a copy of the police report. In about two weeks a brand new safe was delivered at zero cost to my son. They also picked up the old damaged one. Can't ask for much more!
  2. I agree. The skit was funny, but I'm sure it was better in person! Now we need a "Dave shoots the chrono" skit.
