APPENDIX D2 — Limited Division
22 Prohibited modifications
External modifications or features such as weights or devices to
control or reduce recoil (such as but not limited to thumb rests or
components which could be used as such).
That settles that. Thanks, Sarge!

What holster are you using for your Witness Limited gun? I've reviewed the Blade-tech DOH and not into that style. I'd like something more "open". Thoughts?
-
So I just bought a Witness Limited and I'm curious if mounting thumb-rest would be illegal in USPSA Limited division?
-
I just bought my first EAA/Tangfolio (Limited 40 S&W) and plan on using it as a Limited gun.
I'm curious what some spring combos you put in your Witness pistol and the logic behind the change.
-
I'm planning on buying a set of Henning competition mags. Will these allow me to load to spec?
I'm also ordering a conversion for my 650 (from 9mm). I'm pretty excited!
As I understand, you only need to load long with older style mags. With new K40 mags you can load up to spec.
Tomorrow, Im actually gonna start loading some trial loads for my Match using small pistol primer, VV N320 powder and 180/200 gn Bayou bullets.
Just finished fished converting calibers on my 650.

I looked in the reloading section and could find only one post on this. I hear you need to load them long. I also hear you should use small rifle primers?
So... 40 S&W load info for the Witness Elite Limited?
What primers are you using?
What powder?
How much powder?
OAL?
Any info you can provide would rock.

Forgot to mention I am replacing the extractor. I'm thinking about using a Wilson Combat extractor. Will this work?
So I'm a day away from purchasing my first Para. I'm super amped.
Everyone I tell gives me crap and say "Buy an STI". The truth is, I don't want an STI. I want to pimp out a Para and run with and beat guys following the crowd with their STIs. I've heard a lot of talk about Para's not running but I'm set on doing this so it's on!
Below are the list of components I'm planning on swapping out on the gun. What are your thoughts? What am I missing?
- Doug Koenig 1911 HiCap Low Mass Hammer
- Replace trigger parts and have trigger job
- Remove 80's safety parts
- Dawson Precision 1911 HiCap Barrel Bushing Match, Stainless Steel
- Ed Brown 1911 HiCap Wide Ambi Thumb Safety, Stainless Steel
- Gun Craft Standard Serrated Steel Mag Release with Extended Button, Stainless Steel
- Dawson Precision Ice Magwell, Silver with Black insert, Flat Mainspring Housing
- Dawson extended basepads
- ISMI Mag Springs
- All new internal springs
- Doug Koenig 1911 HiCap Low Mass Hammer

I reload 9mm on my 650. I have to say, I have quite a mix of dies on it! Station 1 I use a Redding carbide decapper/re-sizer, on station 4 I use a Lee seating die, and on stage 5 I use a Hornday taper crimp die. It's a long story but this combo personally works best for me.

When I reload lead, I use a Hornday taper crimp on my 9mm. Great die!

I'm about to start reloading 223, in bulk, for my AR-15 and was curious as to whether I should roll crimp or taper crimp my rounds. I am using 55gr Hornay FMJBT with cannelure in a Dillon 550B.
Thoughts?

I just finished my first 3 Gun AR-15 and researched, and held/looked through, a TON of optics. I had a budget of $1,000 and ended up spending $500 on a Vortex PST 1-4. It had everything I wanted in an optic for 3 Gun. I wanted to spend more $, really I did, but sometimes you luck out.

Does my jager guide rod have to be "captured" in my G34 SSP gun? Basically, is it legal to run with it un-captured? I use an 11-pound ISMI spring on the un-captured Jager polymer guide rod.

I'm buying the Glock 34 for USPSA production and I'm wondering if the barrel is fully supported. I'm not looking to run lead through the barrel but will be using Berry's plated ammo. I'm probably going to average 2500 rounds per moth through the gun. Do I need another barrel for plated bullets? Will the brass bulge with the stock Glock 34 barrel?
Witness Limited thumb-rest legal in Limited Division?
