  1. That was in the last bit of his post, that he's working on the sensitivity. Really....a hunk of sock over the bottom of the phone does work wonders. Zero
  2. I just put the app on my phone and it does work. I'm sure there will be better one's along soon, but right now, this one is free AND it works. The mic is super sensitive. I haven't tried it outside yet but I'm sure wind noise would set it off. Even with the sensitivity cranked up it would register small taps and even just clicking the camera button on the side. However if you muffle the mic with say a sock, it works great. Can't wait to try it live. Link : http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3178008&pagenumber=2 Give it a try, and let him know what you think. Zero
  3. I'm in the same boat. Reallllly want a this app. Looking forward to it. Zero
  4. Yes but did you notice how clean and sharp the image was? I think the color correcting in the photo was exceptional. Zero
  5. I've had a Ruger 10/22 around since I was probably 12 years old. I won't do the math but that was a LONG time ago. I think I've had three total in my life time and I know all of them are still running strong. I don't think there is a more flexable .22 platform around. I wouldn't hesitate in the least about getting one. Zero
  6. OK, I've got a fresh perspective on this. Fresh, mainly because I just shot my first uspsa match a few weeks ago. I'm not new to shooting. I've been doing it for many years. So it wasn't like it was the first time I'd put my hands on a pistol. I'd heard my friends talk about the TS's and seen videos of them. I have to say I wasn't thrilled when we set up the last stage and it had not one....but two texas stars. So I finally completed the stage, all targets hit. It wasn't pretty but I got it done. I felt great. I'd never shot a moving target like that with a pistol before and I just did two! So I say die trying. If you move on to complete the stage your not learning what you need to know first. I did take every magazine I brought with me and used almost all of them. So yes take some extra ammo if you think your going to have problems, but don't skip it. Zero
