  2. my new 40L came with a .165 front night sight and standard night sight rear.
  3. http://www.wiilshoot.com/2011/04/review-bayou-bullets.html here is a review
  4. I cant wait to try them i need one bullet manufacture for 9mm 40 sw and 45 Looking for load data for solo and clays for all three
  5. Bayou selling bullets any more?
  6. THanks for the report I have a 9mm pro that shoots ok not as accuraate as my 40 fs and I would like to see or hear about your loads and thier accuracy from the 40 I dont need to spend any more money on ammo but if its a little more accurate than my pro 9mm it might make me pull the trigger on the deal. Thanks I use clays in 9mm 3.7gn with a mg jhp, in 40 clays 3.1gn with a moly 180gn tc
  7. THis has me intrigued 4.7 wst in 9mm is it accurate and what is the max for a 124 jhp mg if you have more info about these loads and chrono data that would be awesome.
  8. Thanks let me know how you like the accuracy
  9. So who has one and how do they shoot, at minor and and major?
  10. THank you for the info yeah I know its alittle unconventional but that bullet shape has proven it can be very accurate in 45 m&p 200gn just wondering if the 40 can do that also at minor it would be sweet for idpa
  11. Hello all you reloading masters I am looking for a accurate load for minor power factor in 40 s&W with a 155 lswc I'll be shooting it from a S&W M&P FS 4.25 and want to use stock springs. I like clays, vv320, and bullseye powders but halso have WST. Thanks for all your help
  12. Thanks - I'll give it a try... You could always change the front sight, I you like the accuracy and veloicity of the current load sight radius * distiance to move bullet impact / range in yards * 36 give it a try let me know what the math shows you mik3
  13. I have tried the 15lb spring on a captured stock rod with 131pf and it was smooth and a little flatter tracking
  14. hey did you try the 13lb spring yet?
  15. If you run anything but the factory weight springs you will have a problem sooner or later. You cannot compare spring rate between 1911/2011's to M&P's, they are two completely different guns. 1911's do not have a spring in the back trying to pull the gun out of battery (striker spring) so you have to run a heavier spring in M&P's You all are welcome to keep trying, but when it fails on a stage in a major, you just lost to the guy that runs the stock springs. lastly there is no such thing as cycling faster, if a gun cycles it cycles, heavier spring slide goes back slower but returns faster, lighter spring slide goes back faster but returns slower. Now they will cause the sight to track differently, but that doesn't really matter either so long as the sight is returning consistently. Thanks Dan I really apperciate your help the stock spring is 16.5lbs , I'm finding out that some are reducing the power of the striker spring and that sounds to me like asking for a problem for sure.. the recoil srpings are the same on both the .40 and the 9mm right? That is intersesting I would like the gun to track alittle bit flatter I'll hit the weight room before I lighten all the springs I guess anyone ever try a 15lb ismi on a captured rod maybe?
  16. I have a 13 lb captured built and I will built a 15lb I want to keep the cycle time fast sot maybe the 15lb? I'll give them both a try thank for the information.
  17. THank you for the responce does the lighter recoil spring and the lighter striker spring make the gun cycle faster with the minor power factor ammo for you ?
  18. David you think with some light AA&A 147 subsonic loads I should try a 13lb spring everything else is stock on my m&p pro
  19. I tried some light 147s from AA&A brass was dribbling out most of the time with stock springs should I pop in a 13 lb?
  20. I HAVE BEEN USING THE AA&A 147 REMANUFACTURED AMMO OUT OF A M&P PPRO AND WAS WANTING TO SEE IF ANYONE HAD CHRONO'D THIS TO MAKE SURE ITS MAKING MINOR POWER FACTOR.
