Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Getting ready to start rolling my own 38 super comp rounds....is there a preferred die set out there? I have an extra 9mm Dillon set, so I assume if I can just find a good decap/size die as an individual unit I can use the seating/crimp dies from my 9mm set? Thanks in advance.
  2. I notice this happens to me if I have my shellplate just a tad bit too tight.
  3. Been around for a few years, but haven't been active at all. Trying to be a bit more active and participate with you all! Look forward to learning what I can and sharing into in the few instances I know something about the topic, lol.

  5. Dies are standard thread and will work in a 1050, but the toolhead will need modified. GSI did not have a toolhead on display at SHOT, but I believe it will be made.
  6. I thought I had already posted this when I got them, but guess not..... GSI started shipping the toolheads and dies about six weeks back. Here's what you get:
  7. Sorry for the late response....just finding this. I was informed that the RT1500 was replacing the RT1200 and it would occur in the next 30-60 days as well. Dillon is not making the 300 toolheads or the 300 trim dies, both of those are from GSI. The GSI dies are a two stage with a rough die and a final die. The guys I spoke to at the Dillon booth said the tests they have done were using the final die only and had hit 500,000 pieces without issue. Also, not sure where they idea came from that you cant mill down the cast toolheads on the 650...many have done it, myself included.
  8. hmmm...decisions, decisions.... What is a used 550 going for these days? I have a buddy interested, but not sure what is fair.
  9. Good to see another new guy from the mis-west!
  10. I was in the locker room watching it all unfold after a morning practice. It didn't seem real until the second tower was hit.....
  11. What parts are interchangeable between the 550 and 650?
  12. I have no interest in the 1050. I'll either stick with my 550 or go to the 650.
  13. I assume I can load the .458 without the feeder?
  14. I wondered if I would receive that reaction, lol. We have a pretty good state site going, and I know some guys like to wander...
