Is the stock 2 bull barrel more accurate than the standard heavy barrel on the lim pro?
Both to me are accurate. It all depends on your load data..

For me.. Well I can use the difference in getting more ammo.. But to each their own.
I have plenty of Tanfo.. For me it depends on my mood.. ... I shoot both and other models as well. Same run same stage same time...

Limpro : Straight and longer Barrel, lighter, quick to transition.
Stock 2 : Bull Barrel but shorter. Heavier but has won plenty of ipsc and uspsa
I think if you wanted to play IDPA people will choose limpro.
Pick your poison. Both are capable.
Alpha shot by either are still 5 points on the board.
When you pick, buy 2 so you have one for practice and one for match then have plenty of ammo ...
Get parts from Patriot Defense and go at it...

I have competed many moons ago using a Spartan. Cheap reliable and accurate for our sport.
Heck I did not even do any trigger work. add a magwell and bought mags and practice.

In light of recent Nationals, there has been questions, discussions and all others amongst friends and competitors.
This has been discussed here for many years ago.
A well balanced stages much like in Nationals, would you be shooting Minor than Major PF?

I9 mm brass for a shelf on the inside or a two-piece brass case itself. Thanks guys.
Look out for 380 brass too on your 9mm.. Somehow they know how to sneak in that pile lol

I miss the days when you can buy wolf primers at $17.50 per 1k. When US made PRIMERS where at $25/1K

Throw them. No need to reuse them.. I have seen so much case separation from those types of brass.

I just started fiddling around with my own Shadow 2, if it is anything like that I will give it a try.
Then you can do it. I believe Tanfo has less parts than a shadow.

What about this one? Is this one good to go or is it better to purchase the lower end Stock Masters and have work done.I do my trigger and action work.
But if you want the simpler and faster way you can buy that.
And if you don't mind paying a little bit.
Plenty of information here and in YouTube. Up to you if you are up to the challenge.

For me if it's open gun.. I would stick with JHP.
But for local matches and practice sessions I wouldn't mind using coated bullets. But i have to clean open guns everytime.
Limited, Production, SS, CO, pcc ... i could care less as long as i clean every 3k-5k.
Big matches.. i always go for jacketed bullets.
Try benching your load. Jacketed will always be much accurate than coated.

try spraying with rem oil on a large towel then holding each end you lift and towel tumble the rounds..
otherwise use a walnut media and dry tumble. do it every 100 rounds so it wont get too heavy in the tumbler.

I chrono anytime I change powder lots. Load only 100 rounds, test and chrono. More often if I am using the same powder it will only deviate very very minimal.
Other than that. I trust my load data I have done over the years.
The only powder that made my data skewed was when using LONGSHOT Powder. I believe there was a time they had some lots that were extremely SLOW and extremely HOT.

You sure it's not the other way around?

Nearest powder i could think of is WST.
You may Titegroup or Clay as well.

I came across someone at the range. Shadow 2 CO setup. LOK Grips. and mag extensions. But he had slide cuts .. no brass grips, no heavy guide rod.. no flashlights. no thumbrest slidestop.
.... he was running a 121 ifp load at 140pf. It was so flat it felt like cheating... 15 yards testing it just came back to the A zone all the time.

You can use aftermarket triggers in IPSC production now.
Good to know.

Legal for IPSC?

Ready to race pistol. All you need is extended base pads and maybe a lighter recoil spring other than that you are good to go.
Enjoy!

Looks like you are running a bolo. Check your Interrupter.
