I would recomend 230 rn bullets. SWC's tend to be a little harder to get to feed consistantly. With the extra weight, you don't have to push them as hard (less flip-more straight back push).
You will also get more or less smoke depending on the lube that is used.
I was using GAT Bullets' 230 gr rn with WST and had very little smoke.
BTW...GAT Bullets are what Jerry Miculek used to set all his World Speed Records

there are lots of single-stack pin guns and steel guns out there that may like to play also

after 5 years and over 50000 rnds of 124's my STI slide has about a .125" crack at the front of the ejection port. gonna keep shooting and keep an eye on it!

been trying to get to their site for a coulpe days to no avail.

read an article a while back warning against using small rifle primers in 40S&W. the claim was that "not enough" preasure was being created to sufficiently seal the gasses in the case because the SRP's were made from too hard of a metal. the escaping gasses could cause premature breechface erosion.

took an enos trigger insert, drilled another hole in it and turned it up-side-down. works great for me!

Match is going on, RO's shot today. Everyone else will shoot Sat. and Sun.
Match is not full, if you can make it to Gonzales by 9:00 or so tomorrow, I'd put money on it that you could get in.
Looks as though 2003 LASC will be the first weekend of September. BUT, that so far is a rumor!!

It's always fun to run a pistol COF with Ruger 10/22's.
Most people have them and for those who don't, they don't have any trouble borrowing one.

I use an Allison speed brush with stainless brushes on it between stages. One or two passes and I'm ready for the next stage. If I forget to brush the cylinders, I can be assured my 610 won't turn loose at least one moon during the stage.

Grams spring and follower kit and Dawson base pads allow all five of my STI mags to hold 20. I start with 20+1 and all the others are on the belt with 19. Reloads are possible with 20, but I would rather "stick" 2 reloads than loose a mag because it doesn't seat and then need to reload again!

If your gun was set up for 175 pf, might as well let a little fouling build up so it will be effective at the lower pf
-
I wouldnt bother. I use a Brazo's offset mount with a C-More. Seams a little strange at first, but feels really comfortable half way through the first mag.

Dillon also carries the "Cup Challenge" for lots less than $100

I use Jerry's grips also. The only other grip that I would use is the round-butt finger-groove grips that came on the first-run 610's. Have a friend who has them but will not part with the.

Took all the checkering off my STI. This narrowed it down quite a bit. I then applied 3M texture tape to the entire grip. Most people like the way it feels, but don't want to grind or file on their expensive to replace grips.

4.7 gr VV N320 and 180 gr Montana Gold JHP. Seems to be a very common load around here.
