CRITERION!!
-
I don't believe in trigger jobs on shotguns because they don't always work . It's a shotgun not a preceision rifle, grip it & rip it.
-
I run a lightened hammer with the strongest hammer spring I can find and have only had 6 hornady rds not go off out of about 2500. Bad news is it was in the larue match last year and cost me big time in the overall. Since it been 100% .

Sorry, that's a $70.00 entry fee with a great meal included.

Butch engel is holding a 3-gun at his ranch in goliad dec 8th one day , 4 great stages out to 400 yds. Need about 30 more shooters to shoot. $40.00 entry fee and placques to the winners. Limited or tact. optics only.

Jeff is the MAN when it comes to lifters.
-
Love it with a lightened buffer. Bad side is they only lasted about 3000 rds and when they stop they STOP.
-
36oz 6" fat free as always
-
We have built several 6.5"s on the gas platform. They weigh in at about 8 1/2 lbs and shoot in the .3-.6 area. Ty gentry shot a 5" group with his at rockcastle last match @ 1000 with ben fortin and guest's watching.

Takeing it off with heat is easy, getting it back on w/o warping the barrel, not so easy.
-
I use hornady steel match 155 jhp and out to 500 it'e less than moa.
-
They are fatter than before and I don't like it.

I have found that if the trigger weight pull is below 2 1/2- 3 lbs myself and others have doubles if not pulled into the shoulder. That is why I use and properly install JP triggers.
-
$100.00 and a "good" single stage trigger just does'nt go together. Add another $100.00 and get a JP installed correctly.
-
When you can't shoot good, you have to at least try to look good.
-
Since I'm a lot older than pat, I lightened my carrier, buffer , tuned my gas system to just lock back with JP's new light recoil spring and tuned my tunable 308 comp for no movement. Shoots like my 223.
-
If you want a soft gun, never use a carbine length gas system. There is a reason most top shooters use a rifle length system w/ a good comp.
-
Just a little more practice and slim will be there.

3/8 carbide end mill
-
You REALLY want a mill to cut perfect lines on the lower pad and hood.
-
You cannot use "good" and the word "cheap" in the same sentence.
-
AND put a good radis on the ext. cut.
-
Take out the smaller spring on the shell release.

I just gave away 2 of them for prop rifles that quit working. Got 3 JP alum. ones left.
