Corpus christi is holding a 3-gun match this sunday as a warm up for larue. Hope to see you here 10am
-
Trace, put a burris 1x4 LRS scope on it. I demo'ed mine for the rangers out to 500 on steel and they hit it almost all the time and loved it up close. If you need one, let me know.
-
Was your gun a tacticl model to start? If so, change the recoil spring to a "standard? one, lighten the bolt and your good to go.
-
24's are in. will be ready to ship by the weekend.
-
Trace, I helped some of the rangers out down here when they got their's last month .
-
Your will have grind down your forearm some .
-
That will do it
-
Change OAL to about 1.175
-
THey will be full race ready.
-
That thing looks like something kurt should be put in each nite before bed.
-
Try it while moveing fast about 30 feet across your yard, one time, cold. That is about what you will do in a match.
-
The M2 w/comfort tech stock has less muzzle rise and less felt recoil. I will have 3- 24" ones for sale next week.
-
Bear, also built 2 6.5 creedmore on dpms platform for ex army sniper instructor and he said he is getting under 1moa out to 1400 yds. Ty gentry also has one I built him.
-
Get it from criterion, google them, It is chrome moly with chrome bore for twice the barrel life. The best I have used.
-
It is here already, the criterion 18" L.W. that myself and jerry M. uses. It holds 1/2 moa out to 400 yds.
-
Just built 3 rifles in 284 win. They shoot about .40 @ 100 and about 2.65 @ 400. 162 hornady a-max with .625 BC @ 2936fps. Can you say flat and little drift.
-
I just did it in 3.78 sec. Of course at my age , it was just the first two.
-
I love michael jackson style loaders. What do you do when you ditch the shotgun and grab your pistol, leave it on or take it off??? Sorry, had to say something silly.
-
spreaders will give you about 40% bigger pattern. I use them a lot.
-
Clock gas port stright up. If you get any muzzle rise , simply drill out top gas port @ .010 at a time untill it does'nt move. Top port is .125

Take the weight off the front as much as possible. Total weight is about 36 oz. with slide about 11 oz. This is what a light 5" weights. Remember a 1911 is recoil orperated so heavier is slower but some want slow and some fast.
-
Hey! different strokes. It would be a shitty world if everyone was alike.
-
Jake a light 6", about 35 oz. will cycle faster than your heavier guns, just a fact of life. The main advantage is 20% longer sight radius. Most guns shoot slower with heavier bullets but faster with light ones. The 6" shoots best with 165 gr where most 5" ones uses 180's.
-
That's it!!! Kurt, your new 6" 9mm I'm bulding is going to have a few "built in" jams and you won't know when.
