yes, its from being chambered and i figure the reason for the intermediate feeding problem
-
Ihave: I started at 1.125-1.130, I shorten to 1.170 -1.120 still doing in very intermediately (ftf), like once a shooting secession, @150 rounds, I thinking of 1.100 next try, its either get worst or go away.

George, that's what I am using Blue bullet 135gr. almost a flat point so I can get alittle more length out of them, I made sure the plunk check is good that where my OAL. is now and what I am finding is the tips get dented as they chamber my question is should i shorten them to remove this possible feeding problem, if it will do anything at all, as minor as it is at this point, unless there another issue going on I am leaning towards my loads. or am I just preordained to copper plated/jacketed tips?
-
no feeding problems? whata re Campro's ?? Jacketed??
-
Sounds like your both are using copper or jacketed bullets, alittle more costly. thanks for the input and the merge.

I know CZ barrel chambers are short, after my try with 124 gr round nose tips that I had to keep <1.090 other wise they would hit the lands. I switched to a flat point style tip (135 Gr) and it allow me more OaL (1.120) for my loads. I have switched top ends w/ new barrel on the pistol to include an optic mounted from Cz custom, recently every shooting session I have at least one miss feed (round wont chamber), This round and others I extract from being chambered all seem to have a nicked tip. I am using epoxy coated tips, any suggestions or experience with this kind of issue? should I go back to a shorter OAL?

XL650, press sticking and snapping

Dirtchevy, I don't lube my cases, I have never lubed my cases and any never had this issue before. don't like the lube left on the cartridge after. Mickeyjones and Dillion It only sticking and popping in the crimp die, at least when I run one cartridge through each station its where its happening. not sure I'd call it small, it starts to change adjustments after awhile of the other stations, like the powder charge and OAL. I am loading 45 acp, my crimp is @ .470 -
When running single cartridge in each station no problem smooth until the crimp die station. Changed out crimp die, looked at holder, greased press. Only in the crimp die station the press it sticks and snaps pretty loud when lifting up on the handle. any suggestions? not a new press, maybe15- 20 thousand, recently changed entire powder station found cracked in cast metal.

you know when you should walk away and come back later for a fresh look well, thanks to everyone for the help, found a loose resizing die, problem resolved, beside me being an idiot !!!!
-
That's what I called it, When I bring the handle downward to its fullest lower position there still arm movement downward. I don't know how else to explain it. Maybe I am just putting to much arm into it?
-
Just replaced the powder assembly and after adjustment I notice there is to much over travel past the full downward pull. Anyone know how can I adjust this over travel out of it.
