..........Wolff sells 11lbs rebound springs.......
wolff made 9 lbs for taurus 85
-
-
first one approx 3,7 (in 3,5 I has about 0,5% light strikes)
second 4pound (because new ratchet running)
both 625-8 in IPSC - shooting slowly so rebound spring is fast enough
-
........ If I shoot slowly, all is well. If I shoot quickly, the timing eventually whacks out--its hard to see but the cylinder seems to rotate only part way to the next stop which throws the timing is off.........
Try numbered chambers by red fat alcohol pencil, you will find if cylinder rotate only part of 60° or if it skip aretation of cylinder stop
-
It's a very touchy and difficult job to file all the ratchets to be alike. .......
I use pivot into the cylinder chamber with 3/8" OD ball bearings as support for correct angle of file

oversize or factory cylinder stop ?
what lube you use at cylinder stop ?

you can compare trigger pull when you adjust same hammer pull with different bent MS
I mean that change is almost at the theoretical level, just by changing the load vector at the end of spring
bent spring will be working closer to the middle part, where have higher energy by stronger profile
negative will be higher nonlinearity of trigger pull
that will be all time ballancing betveen comfort and relliability
60-70% of DA trigger pull is trigger rebound spring (individual, it depend how fast trigger rebound shooter need)
most important things for reliability and effectivity is
1/ reducing friction of hammer
2/ hammer bobing
3/ well primer seating
4/ reducing firing pin spring
5/ perfect flat clips
6/ extending track of the hammer by weld-on DA trigger tooth
I´m sure I forgot something

5 cans of

for very smooth trigger pull :-)

gallon of juice, drink a 1pt, 7.2 pounds weight remains
(sugarfree of course)
-
open cylinder, pull back cylinder latch and try your trigger again
(problem may not be related to the rotation of the cylinder)

Which barrel is for the JM 625 shown in the example posted by 4mike? Thanks.
upper is 4 taps grinding - adapted for PC short cylinder
bottom is standard barrel for 45ACP models (JM include)

very cool thanks for the info mike do you know if the 625 jm will accept a standard 5 inch barrel or is the cylinder the same as the PC guns.
yes, will accept, but factory new barrel is light owersized at the cylinder side
