I haven't personally killed any BUT my younger brother has borrowed mine and killed it twice. First one was with his .44 Apparently he flinches more than he thought. The second was with his AR-15. Apparently the sight tower is taller than he thought. Well those are his stories and as long as he keeps buying me new chrono's when he shoots them I 'll buy his stories of how he shot them.

I had the same problem. chased it down to the inside of the powder funnel is rough. Apparently it doesn't need to be too rough to cause our problem. I polished it out with a cratex "bullet" on the dremel tool. I mean I polished the bejesus out of it. NO MACHINE MARKS LEFT. after that I polished it further with green scotch brite mounted on a piece of dowel rod chucked up in the drill press. When I was done it looked like a mirror finish. I followed that up with a coat of johnson's paste wax to keep it shiny and lessen the possibility of it corroding.

been doing it the same way as chuckr for about 20 years with no ill effects.

I also use his carnauba red. Works very well. Less smoke than others I have used.
