Any replacement trigger spring is fine. CZ Custom sells an "improved" one, thought I am not sure if it is indestructible. I replace mine once a year. I also recommend gettign a slide stop, and since you're whipping up an order, get a trigger pin to replace the old one you're punching out, and a replacement recoil spring and hammer spring. Spare mag base if you're using the 19 rounders with plastic.

No welded bases. Look up the arredondo magazine cleaning brush, too.

Having a rail is what puts you at or just over the limit. Talk to Stuart about getting you a shadow custom built to specifically met idpa weight with a rail.

If you fire a round and it ends up at half cock, you're starting to hammer follow. Get it looked at.
If you manually put it at half cock and it falls when you pull the trigger, that is normal.
-
What leads up to the half cock?

Looks like I'm off to buy another lottery ticket.... lol

Check your trigger bar spring.

You know, if i attached a rod from the bolt handle to a piece on the stock, it could have been a pump.... haha

Finally got to try a match and shoot it with bird-shot. It is definitely too heavy to cycle for the light loads. What are you guys doing? I think I read earlier taking a couple full coils off the recoil spring and opening the gas ports. Any more details? It was basically a single shot, lol. I also had to almost always remove the partially ejected hull too.

The p07 has its own unique mags, unfortunately.

Nope.

I'm not sure how much extra fixing would be required with CGW new FPBL hes working on. Here's a pic
The only thing u wouldn't be able to do is change the angle because it uses a set screw.
I would love you throw this SRT mod by CZC on my 75B but not sure if it can be done at this point.
nice... i've been toying with the same idea for the sear and trigger bar in a couple places, i just don't have the time or means to try it
-
I talk to a gunsmith at CZC and it sounds like they mod the disconnector but I'm not sure what else they are doing. What I want to know is Why this can't be used on the guns with firing pin blocks I would guess it's because of the long reset but CGW should have a part out to fix that at the beginning of next month. I wonder if you could combine the Two and have the best of both worlds?
Also sounds like after they have some time under there belts with this mod they might release a drop in part/parts.
with a FPB it takes extra fitting because the trigger bar has to reset to the sear and the fpb, and then there's twice as much that has to get perfect. not saying it can't be done, but might as well just get a shadow instead of invest the extra time in labor cost. too bad we can't just dump the fpb like pre 2008.

i got to play with a CZC SRT job today on a shadow and it is nuts. it blows away some so-called 'awesome' triggers i've played with in the past.

Try it. if you don't like it, they sell very well so you're not really out anything. Winter is a great time to try out new things before the majors start lining up.

No special tools. Brass drifts are OK. Spare parts include trigger return spring, extractor, slide stop. I just ordered one of those big SP-01 parts boxes. When I get home from vacation I'll check what I have in inventory and can see what extras I have if you're interested.
-
oh yeah, and welcome back?

Just grab whatever comes up as a good deal. CZs are very upgradeable just like Glocks and 1911s.

You'll have to look and see what type safeties you have installed and see if your set uses the same shafts as these. They probably are.

Thanks for the info. If you need options, I think Marschal grips are super lightweight as well, around the same as the plastic.
-
Also pay attention to the trigger bar spring as you tighten it. If you're not careful, the trigger bar spring will be pulled to one side and not work right. You'll have to use a finger to keep the spring in place as you tighten the screw.
-
just remove the screw that retains the mag catch, and the mag catch spring and trigger bar spring come out. don't forget loctite when you put that screw back in, don't ask me how i know.

When you guys broke your trigger spring, do you keep yours wet with lube, or dry? Was it rebent to lighten pull weight? I am keeping stats on that data.... Thanks!
