Oops forgot to add the details. It's Hodgdon HP-38 and 115gr. Only going to use it for testing my reloading skills, well learing how to reload, and just shooting paper targets at the house. I have a Speers #14 and Lyman 49th manuals. I guess I was wrong but was thinking those two books would have had all the reloading powders in them. I wasn't thinking clearly and should have checked Hodgdon web site first. Leasons learned: Keep a shopping list in my wallet Check powder company's web site for load data if not in my manual. I was at Gander Mountain today, wasn't planning on going there but had time while in town. While in the powder and primmer section, I couldn't for the life of me remember what powder I needed (for either 9mm and 223). Looking at Hodgdon because it had what caliber it's for on the label. Picked up a jug (for 9mm) and went home. At the house I was going to cross reference with my reloading books. That type of powder isn't in any of my books. Ahhh!!! Is it safe to use the data on the jug? I'm sure it is but just wondering. Do y'all just remember from all the reloading what powder to get? or have a little cheat sheet in your wallet? Told y'all dumbest question ever.

I have a couple of Volquartsen 10/22's. Can either buy one off the shelf or build one. I like mine and never had a problem yet.

I done a quick search but not able to find my answer. I was wondering if storing the powder in an old frig is ok? It used to be my welding rod container and thinking about making it something else.

After reading for a few weeks and never reloading before. I want to say thanks. If it wasn't for everyones posts, I don't think I would have had the guts to try it. So I'm going with a Dillon 550. Here is going to be it's new home.
