Stick with 38. If you want to switch to Super Comp when your super brass wears out, it is as easy as swapping the extractor. I just switch to super comp and I have enjoyed the extra round in the BIG stick.

+1 on the black front sight. I was losing FO on my STI constantly. It didn't matter if I used super glue or not. A little body filler and flat black model paint and it was good to go. A postive, I don't mistake the FO for my C-more any longer.

Another thing to look at, would be to make sure that the Recoil spring is not too long. If the spring is bottoming out prior to the slide not fulling comming back, it may cause the weak extraction. Check the Slide's range of motion with and without the recoil spring installed. I just went through a similar problem and found my brass was getting bad. If you don't have an EGW Undersized Die, get one. It will help with any extra bulging. Unfortunately they have a 2 month backorder currently. I'm waiting for one for my 40. I had a Ghost when they first came out and was DQ'ed twice for a dropped gun. I bought a Limcat and loved it ever since. No drops, not even in practice.
