    Any information on match hotels or a recommendation for the Southeast?

    As for the squadding concerns the final bugs are being worked out...we hope to have it up next week.

    Next you will be working out of golf carts or personal ATV or such. This place is 2600 acres and we plan to take advantage of all of it wonderful natural terrain. The golf cart fee will be about 25 bucks for the entire weekend...but I waiting to get the confirmation on that...

    Can someone who has used this registration system before help me understand the process.

    Will there be a link to it here, on the Tarheel page, both?

    Is the link available ahead of time or does it magically show up at 8pm?

    Do you pay with a CC when you sign up?

    I'd like to understand before hand as I have some logistical issues.

    2014 Remington Versa Max 3-Gun Series

    Tarheel 3-Gun will be administering the 2014 Remington Versa Max 3-Gun Series.

    Click HERE for details... but here's the skinny:

    - Four matches in the series

    - A Versa Max Competition Shotgun given away to a shooter via random draw at the beginning of each match

    - At the end of the series, a Remington firearm will be awarded to division winners (minimum of 5 shooters for the division to be eligible for this)

    - Series will be held at Woody's Hunt and Rifle Club in New Hill, NC

    2014 Bushmaster Tarheel 3 Gun Challenge, New Hill NC

    Charles, I know the Match is Saturday and Sunday. What time would you anticipate everything being finished Sunday? I have a 7 1/2 hour drive and was trying to figure out if I should just leave Monday morning.

    The plan is to have prizes over around 6pm. Just the plan.....but certain the shooting will be. Our scoring is real time...fauve minutes after the last shooter you will have scores. Squad Sign Up is great about this... Works ever month.

    June 21st and 22nd 2014- The Freedom Munitions Memorial Multi Gun Matc

    The folks at Freedom Munitions have announced that they will bring a "mini gun" to the June 21-22 Freedom Munitions Memorial Multi Gun Match. This match is being held at the Clinton House Plantation, Clinton SC...the match is being administered by Tarheel 3-Gun with Steve Wall as Range Master. For more info on the match, click HERE.



    Jansen Jones, Public Relations Counsel for Freedom Munitions stated, "We are very excited about having our own major match this year." Jones added, "The mini gun will be a non-scored portion of a stage in the match."



    Freedom Munitions has been a major backer of the sport of 3 gun, sponsoring several matches across the country, junior 3-gunners, the Texas A&M 3-Gun Team as well as a number of professional 3-gun competitors.     This will serve as the official thread on this forum to announce the Bushmaster Tarheel 3-Gun matches.

    The monthly matches are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month. Bushmaster Firearms has generously sponsored Tarheel 3-Gun since 2010. Before each match, a Bushmaster rifle is given to a shooter by random drawing.

    Sorry for the delay...lots of great things happening in 2014 and I have been swamped. We have already signed sponsorship with Remington...I would suspect the other folks in the fine GROUP will also participate.

    But I have Spectre Targets (5k in gift certs at each event) Hiperfire, Barnes Precision Rifle and Lancer so far.. and a few CASH PAYOUTS..several more sponsors are asking about these two matches.

    We will open registration via our normal online sign up by way of tarheel3gun.com...on Feb 2nd at 8pm EST we will open the registration for the July Match which will be in NC and then on Feb 23rd at 8pm EST we will open up registrations for the November Match.

    Any news for those of us still on the wait list?

    How many people are on the wait list?

    At present there are 61 folks on the wait list. We sold out in about 6 minutes. I guess there is a demand for this deal?

    Two things to consider, we are holding a few slots for sponsors...that said we will be able to let those slots go in February.

    But on a better note, Tarheel 3 Gun is hosting a major match for the folks at Freedom Munitions at the Clinton House Plantation, Clinton SC ths summer....Home of the Para USA 3GunNation Southeastern Regional Match.

    This match is called the Freedom Munitions Memorial Multi Gun Match will be held on June 21st and 22nd, 2014. Freedom is pulling out all the stops for this gig, prize table, cash payouts, social and a few other cool things.

    I would say if you don't make it into the Bushmaster Tarheel 3 Gun Challenge then a GREAT plan B would be to try an attend the Freedom Munitions 3 Gun Match. Here is the link to this event http://tarheel3gun.com/freedom-munitions/....also not a bad deal to do both. The East Coast is starting top really put out some great Major Matches.
