  1. Biggest issue with a bottleneck cartridge is the loss of capacity. If you are not worried about that, then it is a gret caliber to use. You do not need to by 357sig brass. Just buy regular 40sw, lube the cases, and the dies will take care of the rest. My preferred load is: OAL 1.260 15.6gr. To 16.00 gr of H110 124gr. Berry rnd bullet This will make 170+ power factor. Great load, lots of gas to make the compensator work effectively. DVC Mark
  2. If it built right, and you use quality parts, the 1911 is an exceptional strong gun. By the way 200 plus power factor really makes the comp work well. It is a really LOUD!! DVC
  3. I have had very good results in shooting Berry bullets in both of my open guns. (9 major, and 9x40. I am using the 124 grain 9mm round nose. There basic bullet. Price is $70.00/1000, (this includes taxes) Speed that I am running them at are a minimum 1450FPS. Accuracy, under 2" group at 25 yards. As test I wanted to see how fast I could push the bullets, I got up to 1822 FPS and stopped because of pressure signs. The bullet held up. DVC
  4. I have been using longshot. This load is built for a Schumann bull barrel . OAL 1.150 124 gr berry bullet 7.8 grain Winchester SPM 178 power factor. Really makes the comp work well Very clean burning No pressure signs on the primer. DVC
  5. Hello, I have been using the Cape Scope Mount for the last 18 months and I love it. I have two mounting brackets, so I can swap scopes on a moments notice. Having the ability to swaps scopes that are already zeroed is a great option to have. Especially if you have a dot failure at a match. Cleaning the gun is so much easier when the scope can be removed. If you try this mount you will not be sorry. It is worth every penny!! DVC
