  1. im running it along with 2 other friends. it works pretty well but i was lucky as my friend who bought first ordered xtra dies for 9 and 38super so when i coundnt get a die he sent me one of his.the down side is i also load 9 and 38super so when i'm switching i have to remove the die also. not that big a deal though.

  2. I'm running both the IMM 9major and IMM 38SC. On the 9major i have no hybrid holes with the old style 3port titanium comp. It's the flattest shooting 9major ive shot, but ive only shot about 3 others.

  3. Just received my latest issue of Front Sight and and there is no ad for the match so those who are not on this forum have no notice of the match. In order to fill this match we need to get the word out to every section and every club the specifics of the match and the need for applications and where to mail them. Help us out and talk it up at your club and your friends. Instead of coming home and telling your shooting pals what they missed, tell them now that they are going to be sorry if they do not get registered.

The list of matches has been posted on a couple of other websites. I am sure that if someone wants to shoot Area 6 they will be able to find out about it.

Really seems like there is something else going on here with the post we keep seeing, why not just PM it or email it.

    Attitude

Please be polite. Or if not polite, at least respectful.

No bickering. Regardless of the subject matter.

Antagonistic, offensive, or quarrelsome tones are not acceptable

Look, I know Charles well enough that I don't think for a minute his comment was a slam.

He stated a simple fact (that it isn't on USPSA.org's match calendar), and then encouraged people to get the word out.

    Sounds supportive to me.

It seems to me that it IS on uspsa match calender and i just read my front site and guess what:

  4. Oops, these were loaded in range brass at 1.17" OAL.

Theres the problem. "range brass". I can't see why someone would choose to reload 9mm brass multiple times.

I load 7.4grn WAC with MG121 at 1.165 COL for 170pf with federal small rifle primers. Once fired brass!

That's in an SV IMM shorty.

  5. I just went 9major and for the purpose of reliability, i sort my major match brass. I shot my first major match with my SV IMM 9major at the florida open with ZERO gun malfunctions. I still have my 38sc SV IMM and to me, i'd rather sort than pickup brass every time i shoot. If i'm picking up 38sc brass after a club match, i still have to sort because i'll have a few 9mm or 38sup mixed in. For 9major, i'll load all the mixed brass, and after cleaned and while case gauging, i'll separate Win, FC and R-P head stamps. All others get shot during regular practice matches, R-P gets shot at the larger local matches and Win, FC at majors.

    Edit To Add:

If i'm too lazy to case gauge, i still sort them after loading them in my dillon containers. I still have to look at all my primers before i shoot them. way too many times have i seen people have malfunctions and when checked, they ejected a round with the primer reversed or missing.(i found 1 round out of 1000 during my last reloading session with the primer reversed)

  6. Well, the only thing i can suggest is to place the two sear springs next to each other and see if they are the same length. Not sure but with the present changes Infinity is going thru, maybe that sear spring was designed for the new steel grip. Post a pic of the two springs together side by side.

  7. From the picture, it looks like the sear spring is in the wrong position. The left leaf looks to be too high on the sear meaning the bottom of the spring in not in the slot but above the slot. please take a picture of the lower half of the spring without the housing installed.

  8. You now do have an assortment of magwells. Check their website under various parts. I too did not take to the steel grips and was against it for at least a year. I was told to try it and kept saying it was too heavy. Well now I have a 9 major with the steel grip and my 38SC is on it's way to have one put on. It's the future so when you go to try it, don't just feel it, see if you can get to shoot a stage with it.

  9. Just bought an SVI IMM in 9major and it runs flawless with the traditional. A fellow shooter just had a Millennium Custom gun made in 9major and that too is running with a serendipity. Personally i would try the one I like first and if it doesnt work then switch.

  10. Spoke to a fellow and very experienced shooter today and he recommends Silhouette. He said SP2 is the BEST but you cant get it anywhere. With that, i'm thinking of trying to develop a load with Silhouette, MG 121grn IFP and WSP primers. Based on all the chrono data here, i think it is safe to start at 7.4gr. I will post results when i run my test.

  11. So what's the official load for 9 major? I am about to start loading and love how 121IFP with 3N38 feel in my 38SC IMM and would like to keep it similar with my new 9major IMM.(shorty no hole hybrid with 3 port comp)
