  1. The gun is a new Mossberg 590 bought at Big 5 sporting goods. During strong hand reloads with the gun upside down, occasionally as I took my thumb off of the round that I was loading the round would spring back out of the magazine. And the next round in the mag tube would also go past the retainer spring (possibly called the Cartridge Stop). At that point I would cram my thumb back behind the last round I tried to load and push both back into the mag tube. Where they either held right away or eventually held. But rounds also released from the mag tube and fell to the ground while I was shooting. At one point after loading to 9 rounds I shot 5 shots and was empty. I was using Remington #8 Heavy Dove load ShurShot. It makes sense to me that the gun has a problem with the stamped piece of steel on the left side of the gun that retains the cartridges in the mag tube. The Stop on the right side seems to do its job when the action is open. Anybody had the same problem? Is the solution just to bend left side retainer so that is engages more of the cartridges rim? Or Big 5 has a one year warranty on all guns that are left stock, and I could trade it in on another 590. Thanks for any advise, Rob
  2. Also Arredondo makes red and blue +5 extensions. Lone Wolf sells them or I bought mine directly from Arredondo.
  3. I have the Sevingy Comp sights on my G35. My gun still shoots high after raising the front sight .033 inches by temporarily placing a washer under it.
