  1. I have been loading pistol for years and am going to start on 223. I would appreciate some starting suggestions on loads, particularly suggestions on bullet weight. 20 inch Rock River Arms National Match 1:8 Stainless Heavy Barrel This will be for plinking at the range out to 300 yards. thanks...
  2. Thank you, adco had it in stock ! much appreciated...
  3. I purchased a pair of DPMS lowers and decided to start my own builds. After a lot of reading I decided to go with the RRA lower parts kit, browsed through their site picking out the grip I wanted, etc.. Placed my order and then got the confirmation email, which included a paragraph of warnings that they ship orders 2-12 months out. When I called they confirmed it would be months to finally get my kit. Does anyone know an online site that actually is likely to have RRA parts like this in stock? Is there much performance difference buying a Delton, DPMS, or other name brand kit ? thank you

    dead bang?

If they could just make their site a little more obnoxious maybe I'll give one a try.
  5. Thanks for giving of your time to so clearly answer my question and add value to the forum.
  6. I am starting to setup dedicated guns for IDPA SSP, ESP and USPSA Prod and Limited. I then have to reconfigure them when I shoot GSSF or one of them needs work. Has anyone put together a simple list or spreedsheet that shows what mods are allowed in different classes of the different organizations ?? What sites, guide rods, springs, extended controls, grips, slugs, magwells, etc.... There is nothing worse than getting halfway through a match and realizing I have a grip slug in my glock and am suddenly moving out of production !
  7. In case of what?? Not sure I follow the logic that defeating an intended safety device affects your ability to handle a weapon safely different based upon what sport you're shooting.
  8. Anyone else having issues running the video?? I only get a flickering screen at Photobucket. IGNORE: had to upgrade macromedia player.
  9. I think Phil summed it up pretty well. Last year's match was just as great and I assumed they would be reusing all of the time consumingly constructed props from last year in new stage designs. I was just amazed they started over from scratch and built so many new props. Many of us also stayed and shot the IDPA match on Sunday morning. Some of the stages were replaced with new IDPA stages, but many of the USPSA field courses were slightly modified or had the round counts lowered to IDPA levels and we got a chance to shoot them again with new target scenarios. One other draw for this match is that it is hosted in one of the most scenic and activity laden areas of the country you can find. I enjoy shooting in the corn fields of Barry as much as the next guy but Stowe, VT is a great weekend escape for the family with so much to do in that area. Thanks to everyone who worked the match for their efforts, it was well worth the drive once again !!!
