Agreed:
Having shot a little bit of IPSC Shotgun I'd have to say that the above statement about stages being "hampered" by IPSC rules is not exactly how I would characterize it. Some shooters are better at speed shoots, some at slug stages, some at long field courses and some at the medium 9-22 rounds mentioned by Nuts. Who is the best shooter? The IPSC ratio of short/medium/long stages is an attempt to balance stage design so that roughly the same number of points are available on each type of stage.
I really liked the zones divided by ammo type.

What are these targets - any photos?
. . . I like the press pipes used at Nordic. Can't be spun and always the same.

Its going to be tough as the company that makes them has put production on "hold" as they are being sold to another firm and future production is questionable at this point.

Great match . . . . Thanks to Larry, Linda, Howard, the ROs and Larry's mom for the great food. Many thanks to all the sponsors that continue supporting this match and especially FNH USA for their commitment.

Update from Todd Jarrett:
John Benton has passed away peacefully yesterday in the arms of his wife Lynda. He loved life to the bitter end as he reminded me to never quit. Should be an inspiration to us all. "Grand Master Benton has left the range!" There will be a memorial for John but no arrangement at this time. If you would like to send a card/note to Lynda Benton. My PO Box 337, Prince George, Va. 23875
